Born in Ferrara, Italy, 1982. With an early interest injazz, he takes his first clarinet and saxophone lessons in Ferrara. He attends masterclasses held by Steve Lacy (1998) and Andy Sheppard (2000). He attends the international summer jazz workshops in Siena, Italy. After the 2001 edition he has been granteda scholarship for the 13th IASJ meeting in Helsinki (2002).He plays with Enrico Rava's “Under 21” quintet between 2004 and 2005.He attends the Permanent Workshop held by Stefano Battaglia in Siena from 2004 to 2008. He also starts playing in his Theatrum groups, and in the Outvestigation quartet (since 2007).He's a member of El Gallo Rojo (www.elgallorojorecords.com) label/collective since 2005

and an instrumentalist; he plays tenor-sax, soprano-sax,
clarinet, percussion, piano; he is a master of voice

Lynn Riley

Lynn Riley enjoys a vibrant career as a jazz musician, composer, and educator, whose primary instruments are saxophone and flute. As the leader of The World-Mix, Lynn has been described more than once as "Superwoman" of the sax. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pa., she received a B. A. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Hawaii. Her time spent in Hawaii was influential in developing her sensibility to, and awareness of, different musical cultures. She continued her musical studies at the University of Missouri Kansas City, studied privately with Doris Sellers (principal flutist of the Kansas City Symphony), saxophone with Ahmed Alladeen, and immersed in its rich jazz tradition, apprenticed and performed with many of KC's jazz legends

As a freelance woodwind artist, Tom has performed with Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, John Denver, Henry Mancini, Andy Williams, Woody Herman and the Thundering Herd, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, Lou Rawls and many other top name artists. Currently Tom leads the modern jazz quintet Hip Pocket and plays in the Naples Jazz Orchestra for their popular Monday Night big band concert series at Cambier Park, Naples, FL.
