Szymon Bialorucki

Szymon Białorucki — studied jazz trombone with Grzegorz Nagorski, at the Academy of Music in Katowice. In the year 2013/14 he studied with Nils Wogram, at the Hochschule Luzern, Musik, in Switzerland. Szymon leads a quartet The Forest Tuner, where he presents his personal vision of music. The band released its debut album entitled "Tunes" in 2016. He plays in the Konglomerat Big Band – Poland’s first professional, non-commercial Big Band profiled for contemporary improvised music. He participated in various workshops with such musicians as: Peter Bernstein, Mark Soskin, Ed Partyka, Uwe Dierksen, Andy Middleton, Greg Osby, Dariusz Terefenko, Gerry Hemingway, John Voirol, Piotr Wojtasik, Maciej Obara, Dominik Wania, Tom Arthurs, Ole Morten Vaagan, Gard Nilssen

Mateusz Chorazewicz

Mateusz Chorazewicz is Polish jazz saxophonist of the young generation. He graduated from the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk. He was developing his musical skills under the guidance of the most distinguished Polish jazzmen – Maciej Sikala, Adam Wendt, Maciej Obara, Jerzy Malek and many others. He also participated in numerous workshops led by such personalities of jazz as Ed Partyka, Piotr Wojtasik, Jim Black, Ole Morten Vaagan, Jon Falt, Tom Arthurs, Dominik Wania, Zohar Fresco, Peter Hertmans, Andy Middleton and Wayne Horvitz. He is passionate about juicy, hardbop sound of Benny Golson's saxophone, but also does not avoid experimental sounds of Yusef Lateef, Dewey Redman and Pharoah Sanders

Luis

Born:
Luis graduated as an instrumentalist and saxophone teacher from the National Conservatory of Music in Havana, Amadeo Roldan. He studied under the class of Carlos Averhoff. After completing his studies, Luis Nubiola was invited to go on stage by several distinguished Cuban jazz musicians including Jose Luis Cotes (El Tosco), José Miguel Credo (El Greco) and Díakara. He joined the Cuban music group PG, under the direction of the renowned conductor and flutist José Luis Cortes (El Tosco), founder of the famous NG La Banda group and Top Secret. In Cuba Luis Nubiola has also participated in several musical workshops and performed with Danilo Peres, Gonzalo Rubalcava, George Benson, Steve Coleman, Ralf Irizarry, and others. In 2001, Luis Nubiola moved to Costa Rica where he became one of the finest and most famous musicians, working with such artists as Walter Flores (Grammy winner), Robert Aguilar and “Chocolate Band”

Studied Jazz i muzyka estradowa at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music. Past: Policealne Studium Jazzu and PSM im F. Chopina w Warszawie. Frontman of Aga Derlak Trio, was initiated by Aga in Dec 2012, double bass: Tymon Trąbczyński percussion: Bartosz Szablowski. Trio is playing there own compositions. It is crazy & courageous music also full of lyricism. They are important voice of young generation in jazz music. They already took the most important jazz awards for juniors in Poland and Czech:Jazz Juniors (2013), Czech Contest 2015.

Michał Tokaj jest absolwentem słynnej już Akademii Muzycznej w Katowicach na Wydziale Jazzu i Muzyki Rozrywkowej. Zadebiutował w 1993 roku grając w kwartecie Kazimierza Jonkisza. Wraz z zespołem Joint Venture został laureatem 1-go miejsca na festiwalu Jazz Juniors ’95 w Krakowie, Festiwalu Standardów Jazzowych Siedlce ’96 oraz nagrody dla najbardziej obiecującej młodej grupy na konkursie Europ’ Jazz Contest w Hoelaart w Belgii w roku 1996. Z kwartetem Marcina Żupańskiego zdobył pierwszą nagrodę na Jazz Juniors ’97. W 1999 r. Michał Tokaj zwyciężył w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Improwizacji Jazzowej w Katowicach. Pianista koncertował w USA, Izraelu, Egipcie, Jordanii, oraz w większości krajów europejskich

Artur Dutkiewicz Polish jazz pianist and composer. Born in Pinczów, Poland in 1958. He graduated from The Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland and received diploma with distinction.
