Drew Nugent

Born: August 28, 1985

Drew Nugent is a jazz musician, hailing from the city of Philadelphia, and bandleader of the group "Drew Nugent & the Midnight Society". Nugent, as well as his ensemble, specializes in playing traditional or "Hot" Jazz, from the 1900s to the 1940s, with the main area of focus being the Jazz Age - the Roaring 20s. His main instruments of choice are the piano, trumpet and vocals. He is also known for his playing of an odd contraption called the"Hot Tea-Kettle", or the "Teapot Trumpet" as some fans have named it. Drew made his debut in 2005, at age 19, on the classic NPR radio show "A Prairie Home Companion", where he placed 3rd on the "Talent from 12-20 Contest"

Atheen

Born: October 18, 1970

A UK Jazz-Funk musician, Atheen supported Soul II Soul early in her career and later signed to an East London independent label, who released a white label cover of the Evelyn 'Champagne' King classic Back To Love. Now self-releasing on her own label, Modal Records, she's turning out a selection of original tracks featuring a long-time collaborator, bass player Gaz Rackham. She's also realising her dream of working with some of her favourite artists, with guest performances from Matt Johnson and Derrick Mckenzie (Jamiroquai), Nick Van Gelder (drums), Gary Barnacle (sax) and Johnny Thirkell (Trumpet)

Leonie Evans

Born: June 10, 1988

Leonie Evans has been performing since the age of 5 and has never stopped. As well as her own music she plays Jazz, Blues, Country, Gospel and music from Latin America. She's played and sat in on vocals, guitar or washboard with the likes of Tuba Skinny, C.W. Stoneking, Frog & Henry, Honky Tonk Sail, Blue Mockingbirds, Ragtime Nightmare, Old Fish Jazz Band, Sam Doores and many more.

Zeeteah Massiah

Born: December 24, 1956

Zeeteah Massiah is a singer. She was born in Barbados and grew up in the UK. She had a No. 1 dance hit in the US and has sung and toured with artists like Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, Robbie Williams, Sting, Paul Weller and Johnny Hallyday.

She has since recorded three albums with producer husband Paul Caplin.

Zeeteah and Paul are about to release their first album as a duo: Caplin & Massiah. Paul was the song writing member of 80s rebel popsters Haysi Fantayzee.

Caplin & Massiah love playing around with different genres like afrobeats, electronic pop, dancehall, reggae and disco. 

Benny Benack III

At the age of 28, Pittsburgh-born, New York-based Jazz trumpeter & singer Benny Benack III has quickly established himself as one of the most versatile and virtuosic voices of his generation. Hailed by the New York Times as “a charismatic young trumpeter who maintains an earnest sideline as a singer”, Benack has a knack for delighting audiences with panache, in the spirit of classic crooners like Sinatra & Mel Tormé, with a nod to legendary trumpet showmen Louis Armstrong & Dizzy Gillespie. Equally comfortable in both Jazz and Pop settings, Benack has worked with some of the greatest acts in music today, touring domestically as a trumpet soloist with Josh Groban, Ben Folds, fashion icon Isaac Mizrahi, as well as European engagements with Jazz Bass extraordinaire Christian McBride

Ryan Baker

Born: September 2, 1978

Based in Las Vegas, vocalist Ryan Baker has been singing in all types of venues and appearing in production shows all over North America for well over a decade. Originally from Long Island, NY, Ryan moved to Vegas in October 2003, where he began performing at weddings and corporate events at just about every major casino property in town, with performances ranging from Frank Sinatra “sound-alike” to impersonating the man himself. In 2005, Baker helped create and became one of the stars of the original tribute show “Shades of Sinatra”, which received the Entertainment Consumers’ Exchange “Tribute Show of the Year” award in 2007, 2012, & 2014

He participated in different singing projects connected with his high school. At the age of sixteen he sang around in different clubs in Philly, while studing singing privately.
