Martina Fiserova

New York-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Martina Fišerová channels her love for jazz and authentic storytelling through her original songs, meshing harmonic sophistication with sincere, personal expression. Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Martina has performed with many artists at jazz festivals and venues throughout Europe, as well as in Taiwan and Vietnam. After relocating to New York City in 2013 to further develop her skills, she released an album of her original music, "Shift", in 2015. She has since had the honor of performing at venues and festivals including Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center, New York's Blue Note Jazz Festival, and Prague Proms Festival, among others.

At 14 she started studying lyric singing and took the entrance exam for the National Holiday School but shortly thereafter she discovered she loved Bilie Holiday and the new Brazilian rock as much as Marisa Callas. Carlos Monte, an economist, was a cultural director of the Portela Samba school in the 1970s and introduced her to the finest sambas from Rio de Janeiro. Tanya Saunders

Tanya Saunders studied piano and voice with Lily Dichupa-Alano, Ernie Scott, and the renowned Lillette Jenkins-Weisner. At fourteen, she won the Talented Teen of New Jersey competition, appearing at the Garden State Arts Center. Olivia Foschi was born in San Francisco and grew up in Italy. Although she always loved to sing, she discovered her passion for jazz while studying guitar and Theory of Music with Roy Zimmerman in high school.
