Luiza Sales is a brazilian singer and songwriter that makes new brazilian music with jazz flavour. In 2012 she released her first CD, “Breve Leveza”. In the repertoire, songs written by young composers from Rio de Janeiro and songs written by Luiza Sales, Rosa Passos and Djavan - her main musical influences. Brazilian styles such as samba, bossa nova and baião appear in this diverse and eclectic album, produced by Daniel Garcia, who flew from LA to Rio just to work with Luiza. She toured around Brazil, playing in different stages in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte

I have a background in theater as well having studied at the Red Bull Theater, NYC, HB Studios, and am the author of Running Luce. I love jazz and am putting out my first ever EP entitled Love, recorded this year at Tedesco Studios, Paramus NJ.

Andrea Carlson

Andrea Carlson, vocalist, guitarist, bandleader, and composer, was born in Tennessee and lived throughout the USA before the family settled in Chicago, where she attended high school and college. She earned her BM in Classical Guitar at the American Conservatory of Music. Moonlighting throughout her studies, she performed music from the 20s, 30s, and 40s with several different bands, as a vocalist. For 10 years, Andrea appeared in many top venues and festivals — a highlight was opening for the one and only James Brown, in Fort Worth, TX! After moving to the Philadelphia area, she began to perform solo, using her classical guitar skills to create finger-style jazz accompaniment for Great American Songbook standards

Maartje Meijer

Born: February 15, 1985

Maartje Meijer (1985) is a singer, songwriter and pianist. Her debut CD was released in 2013. She studied at the Utrecht and Amsterdam conservatories: jazz vocals and jazz piano. She got lessons from a.o. Deborah Brown, Harmen Fraanje, Bert van den Brink & Cor Bakker and graduated cum laude. During her masters degree she took arranging lessons with Jörg Achim Keller (chief conductor and arranger with the NDR big band). This led to several arranging assignments for example for the Lajjazzo (LandesJugendOrchestra) conducted by Jiggs Whigham. Also she developed the skills to write counterpoint and modern fugue like compositions

Annette Genovese

Annette has performed and recorded in the New York Tri-State area for over 25 years and done 3 tours in the Middle East. Working solo and in various groups, she has written or arranged, and recorded dozens of songs for her own albums, Indie artists, and commercials. Managing her own projects, she has created several professionally produced albums ranging from new wave, gospel rock, pop, funk, and jazz. For each project, she has provided primary creative oversight from initial vision through song arrangement/writing, recording, mixing, and final mastering. Diane Ducey

Jazz has, and always will, hold a special place in Diane's heart, for it is the supreme triple threat—making music with other people, touching people through music, and bringing to life an era where once people danced and remembered together. Mayhaps Diane will find a little niche in the south of France where she can ply her trade anew, but for now, she is writing her own original music.
