Shye Ben Tzur

Residing in both India and Israel, Shye Ben Tzur is an Israeli singer and musician who composes qawwalis in Hebrew, Urdu, and Hindi, combining Sufi devotional music with Western elements. Born in New York City, Ben Tzur became interested in Indian music after seeing Indian classical musicians Hariprasad Chaurasia and Zakir Hussain perform in Jerusalem. He traveled to India and began studying Indian classical music, and eventually began to compose qawwali music in his native language, Hebrew. He regularly collaborates with Rajasthan folk musicians, and has worked with famous musicians such as Indian singer Shubha Mudgal, Spanish guitarist Fernando Perez, Israeli percussionist Zohar Fresco, and others

Eva Scholten Talented jazz singer Eva Scholten (’86) completed her studies at the Jazz departement of the Amsterdam Conservatory in 2010. With her phenomenal timing and improvisations in the tradition of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn she provides her very own counterpoint to the musicians around her. As a singer and arranger in vocal group ‘YesSister,JazzSister’ who just released their second album ‘Crazy People’, she’s been playing all the main Jazzfestivals in the Netherlands. This year she wil sing with Hot Club the Piracicaba at the biggest gypsyjazz festival in Brasil; Festival de Jazz Manouche de Piracicaba. Gypsyjazz formation Eva sur Seine, consisting of Eva Scholten & the Thomas Baggerman trio, performed at Europe’s greatest Django Reinhardt stages: Django Reinhardt Memorial Festival Augsburg (DE), Django in Liberchies (BE), Django Reinhardt festival Samois (FR)

Sara Bielanski

Sara Bielanski is a versatile American vocalist whose varied repertoire encompasses jazz, gospel, R&B, opera and art song, and improvisation. Her voice has been described by critics as "resplendent", and her contemporary interpretations as "unforgettable", "the real thing", and "mystifying and beautiful" (artfuse.org, 2012). An avid jazz musician, Sara has performed with legends Sheila Jordan, Ra-Kalam Bob Moses, Rufus Reid, Jim McNeely, Stan Strickland, and Peter Cassino, and had the distinct pleasure of studying with the late Charlie Banacos. Bielanski studied at the esteemed Jazz in July program at UMass Amherst, as well as the Lake Placid Jazz Institute in upstate New York

Sidney Jacobs is an American jazz vocalist, songwriter, arranger and producer. Born in Harbor City, California, and raised in Los Angeles, Jacobs first began singing in the church choir as a child. As the baby of the family, Jacobs’ musical taste was greatly influenced by those of his teenage brother and sister. His brother - a flutist, favored jazz, and rock and roll, while his sister - a pianist, was a lover of soul and pop music. Additionally, gospel music filled the house as Jacobs’ father, a radio and television news reporter, had once been a gospel radio disc jockey.
