Jeff Hedberg is a 25-year-old jazz singer, flugelhorn and trumpet player. His musical training includes a Master of Music in Jazz Pedagogy from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Elmhurst College. During his time at both institutions Jeff had the opportunity to perform with both the EC Jazz Band and the NU Jazz Ensemble, both well-known big bands. During which he played both lead trumpet and jazz chair. Through his schooling, as well as his own pursuits, Jeff has studied with Doug Beach, Mark Colby, Jackie Allen, Brenda Lualdi, Bob Rummage, Mark Streder, Libby York, Jeff Deustch, Phoebe Fuller, Rob Parton, Don Owens, Joel Spencer, Mike Kocour and Judy Roberts. Jeff's playing and singing styles are most notably rooted in the styles of Chet Baker and Mel Torme

But that's exactly what happened to this former lawyer who'd let her dream of singing lie idle for almost a decade, before deciding that enough was enough. Melissa Stott, jazz songwriter and vocalist, was born in Manchester (UK), daughter of a Singaporean-Chinese mother and an English father who was a jazz pianist and church organist. Being the only student on the advanced music course at high school, Melissa received one-to-one tuition in harmony and counterpoint from Lorna Wareham. A classical pianist and dancer, she spent the late eighties and early nineties living and working in London, Canterbury, Singapore, Italy, Sweden and Denmark, obtaining a degree in Drama and touring with a theatre company.

Monica Yngvesson is a jazz vocalist and a native of northern Sweden. Monica has performed as a soloist and with groups in festivals, concerts and churches in Northern Europe. In 1998, her musical interests took her to Boston to study jazz performance at Berklee College of Music. Her unique tone and improvisational style have made her a much sought-after vocalist, notably with the Vardan Ovsepian Quartet on their Fresh Sound recordings. Her voice serves to enhance the instrumental range of a group in the role of a string or woodwind. She has inspired composers, such as Vardan Ovsepian, Kaori Tanioka, and Andrew Kim, to write especially for her. As a performer, Monica has appeared at many venues in the Northeast, including jazz clubs such as The Regattabar in Cambridge, MA, and in concerts at the Center for Cultural Exchange in Portland, ME, and the Natick Center for the Arts, MA, among others
