Shawn-Aileen Clark came to New York City to study dance at Marymount Manhattan College and quickly became engrossed in studying the choreography of classic American Broadway musicals. At some point the melodies of such composers as Gershwin, Rogers, Berlin, Loesser and others became so inspiring that Shawn switched from dancer to singer. She immediately started a career as a band leader with the swing group Bim Bam Baby which worked regularly in and around New York City as well as repeatedly touring the east coast. As her approach to music matured she found herself being drawn more to a jazz interpretation of the songs she loved so much

Cookie Coogan

Cookie Coogan grew up in the State of Maine where she received her first music instruction in church and in school. She first heard and participated in jazz at school, playing piano with the school "stage band." She studied jazz piano at Maine Jazz Camp with Gerry Wright who also introduced her to jazz singing. Upon graduating from high school, Cookie attended Ithaca College where, in addition to her music education program, she studied jazz theory, improvisation, history, arranging and composition with guitarist, Steve Brown. She sang with the Ithaca College Vocal Jazz Ensemble under the direction of well-known vocal jazz educator, Dave Riley, and with the Ithaca College Jazz Workshop bands directed by Brown

Cindy Miller is from the Rochester, New York area. She received her masters degree in music from the Eastman School of Music.
