Jacqui Naylor

Jacqui Naylor is not an easy artist to categorize. There are times when she performs straight-ahead vocal jazz, but at other times she favors more of a folk-rock/adult alternative approach. Depending on the mood she is in at a given moment, the northern Californian can bring to mind anyone from Cassandra Wilson or British jazz vocalist Claire Martin to Sarah McLachlan or Shawn Colvin — she is as comfortable among jazz improvisers as she is in the singer/songwriter world. During one of her live performances, Naylor has no problem singing smoky jazz one minute and folk-rock or adult alternative the next — and there are times when she blurs the line between the two.

Kate Paradise

Born: June 23, 1981

About Kate… Kate Paradise was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1981, but spent a majority of her childhood in southern New Hampshire, about an hour outside of Boston. Kate’s interest in music began at an early age, singing with her mom in church and taking piano lessons from her pastor. In school, Kate excelled in small but supportive music programs, taking on leadership roles in the choirs and singing in the high school big band. Kate also auditioned and participated in numerous NHMEA All-State and Jazz All-State choirs. During the summer of 1998 Kate attended the Berklee College of Music Summer Performance Program in Boston, Massachusetts

Jan Shapiro

Born: May 10, 1949

Jan began her music studies at the Saint Louis Institute of Music and continued by earning her Bachelor’s degree, graduating Cum Laude from Howard University, Washington D.C. and completing a Masters degree from Cambridge College, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her first major engagement at the Playboy Club in Saint Louis lasted more than six months–until she and her group went on the road, touring extensively. Subsequently she performed at the Camellia Room in the Drake Hotel, Chicago, the Hyatt Hotels in Washington D.C., and Atlanta, The Top of The Tower Club, New York City, Marriott Hotels in Florida, Washington D.C

Elisa Fiorillo

Elisa Fiorillo began singing at the tender age of six. Her first professional performance was at age eleven where she was paid to sing the song “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” at a St. Patrick’s Day Country Club party. The crowd adored her. She graciously accepted the “huge” fifty dollar payment and officially ventured into the world of professional singing. Elisa recalls “...most of my childhood was spent performing in musical theater like “The Sound Of Music”, “A Christmas Carol” and “The Music Man” ... “I remember going to all these auditions with my mom in New York city, it was hard work for a young girl !” Eventually for Elisa and her mom the hard work would pay off

Rose received her Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Roosevelt University in Chicago and owns the entertainment agency Lola Bard Productions, named for her grandmother, a 1930s vocalist who performed and recorded with Bobby Hackett & The Original Dixieland Jazz Band

Jackie Richardson

JACKIE RICHARDSON Well known for her multitude of work on stage, screen and studio, Jackie Richardson is highly recognized in Canada and a star in her own right. Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Jackie moved to Toronto when she was very young. She began her career at the age of 7 singing in her church choir. In 1964, at the age of 17, Jackie went on to perform in her first group. Since then she has acted in film, theatre and television and toured across Canada and the world performing with renowned artists such as Ray Charles, Anne Murray, Dr. John and Celine Dion to name a few. Jackie has also appeared in films directed by Sidney Lumet and Norman Jewison
