Torben Rees

Born: May 29, 1979

Torben began singing at the age of 17, when joining the youth swing jazz band Just in Time first as trumpeter and then as lead male vocalist. During his years as a student in Cambridge he developed his skills as a singer and songwriter playing shows around Cambridge and across the UK with the Park Lane Big Band. Going from strength to strength in jazz Torben has just completed his new jazz album demo "Give Me A Break!" recorded with rising piano star Tim Lapthorn, amongst other great players. He has worked with several star musicians recently including: Ian Shaw (masterclass at the 606), Matt Dusk (impromptu guest appearance at Ronnie Scott's) and Steve Rubie (jamming at the 606)

Lee Ferris

Lee Ferris hails from Los Angeles. He is the son of a Cinematographer and a Singer/Painter. Ferris grew up building guitars and playing guitar and piano from an early age. He studied jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music and opera at California State University Northridge respectively.

Performed for audiences across the world in styles ranging from jazz to folk to classical vocal repetoire at venues including Carnegie Hall in New York City and the St. Nikolai Church in Prague, Czech Republic.

Ferris has an amazingly huge and unique singing voice. His songs are whimsical and profound. They play with the english language like a Harlem Globetrotter plays with the ball on a fastbreak

Ronnie Ireland

Born: November 30, 1950

Born into a family of singers, I grew up to the sounds of opera (my father) and the classic show and movie tuned (my mother) I added rock and pop a while later and have enjoyed performing in all of these styles during my career. Nowadays a I concentrate mainly on classic swing jazz, performing with my trio at Festivls, clubs and corporate events.

Trish Shandor

Born: April 27

Trish is no stranger to a stage and has been performing professionally in musicals since the age of 11 and the private party and club scene since the age of 14. She has also been supporting her own career and education since the age of 12. Trish has a BMA in vocal performance from Oakland University with a strong emphasis in both jazz studies and classical voice with a music education core curriculum. Trish is sought after for her ability to be what the Michigan Opera Theatre Department of Community Programs considers a multi-genre vocalist and style master. She is one of Clinton Township’s most prominent vocal music educators and has successfully created some of the Metro Detroit areas most promising young talents, including Miss Michigan 2000, CheVonne Burton. In 2004, Trish competed in over a dozen Opera competitions with thousands of young classical singers, in which she made it to semi-final or final rounds

Rita Edmond

During an era when there are many female singers who are attempting to sing jazz, Rita stands apart from the crowd. A California-based vocalist who is making quite an impact on the Los Angeles jazz scene, she has a very appealing voice, a four-octave range, and is able to express a wide variety of emotions. Rita swings at every tempo and does justice to the lyrics that she is singing but is also a classy and spontaneous improviser who is not shy to stretch herself or to take her music in unexpected directions whether interpreting up tempo swing, sensuous blues or a heartbreaking ballad

Valerie Day

When the musical landscape shifted and the ride ended, Valerie and her husband John bought a house in Portland, Oregon and had a son, Malcolm. Eventually, Valerie was drawn back into music through teaching voice and lending her talents to other artists’ recording sessions. “It felt good not to be married to a particular style of music anymore. I got to play the field musically.” She became an in-demand singer and session player, and has performed or recorded with artists ranging from the Oregon Symphony Pops to pianist Michael Allen Harrison, celebrated jazz songwriter/pianist David Frishberg, African drummer Obo Addy and many others

Elizabeth Blake

Born: October 31, 1972

I've been a professional performer for fifteen years,both on stage and in film/tv. I began performing semi professionally at age eight and continued on from there, graduating from Emerson College. Since that time, I've worked as a singer/actress,as well as in the education field. I'm available for wedding ceremonies and functions.

Faith Gibson

Born: December 29, 1960

Faith Gibson began her career as a jazz vocalist at the 2003 Glasgow Jazz Festival. The shy Pittsburgh native grew up within a family of musicians, played piano and flute as a child, and sang in choirs as well as smaller vocal ensembles. In her search for a mode of expression, jazz ultimately seduced her. The joy of improvisation gave her the confidence to appear as soloist and leader on stage and to record her first CD, ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ in 2004.

Faith’s second, much awaited album of mostly original songs, ‘Big Moon,’ was released in 2009 and is still being played on jazz radio stations around the globe.

Ruth Koleva

Born: April 18, 1990

Ruth is 18 year old Bulgarian-born singer. Ruth's passion for music came at early age, her mother used to play Jazz and Blues for her since the moment she was born. She has been singing since she was 5. At 9 she had her first stage appearance in Thailand's finest sky-scrapper Bayok hotle and towers, in front of Thailand's minister of sports. In 2000 when she was still 9 year's old, Bulgaria's most-read Newspaper "Noshten Trud" printed a 2 page article about her. When Ruth was 13 she started attending singing competitions, won many of them. At 15 she had her first demo recorded in New York with famous producer Martin Briley

Shirley Crabbe

Born: February 18, 1963

Native New Yorker and 2019 New York Bistro Award winner, Shirley Crabbe has been hailed as possessing a voice that “must surely appeal to all who love good jazz singing.” Her “almost Ella Fitzgerald–like vibe glows…” says Downbeat Magazine's John Ephland on her 2011 debut recording HOME featuring the legendary saxophonist Houston Person. Her 2018 Top 50 album BRIDGES (2018) has received rave reviews and spotlights her collaborations with renowned pianists Donald Vega, and David Budway. Shirley has been a guest on syndicated radio programs such as “Jazz Inspired” hosted by Judy Carmichael, and Steve Cuden's "StoryBeat" to name a few, and currently performs at jazz clubs, festivals and concert series in the US
