Aggerbæk

International singer-songwriter ready with new album.

The past years, Benjamin Aggerbæks music has brought him around the world, and set the foundation for his three weekly openmic scenes in Copenhagen. Now Aggerbæk is ready with a new album, an album very much about a musician on the road.

Since 2006, Benjamin Aggerbæk has visited New York no less than 7 times to perform. In 2008 he was on a longer tour, also bringing him to Austin, Odessa and Chicago, and latest, in 2009, 11 shows in New York with his Aggerbæk Kvintet. Add to this three weekly openmic stages in Copenhagen, hosted by Benjamin, and you get the picture of a man on the road.

Even so, the summer of 2009 brought enought time to record a new album: «My Oh My» contains songs from the road, songs to and about women, about the tough love and about returning home

Marcya Daneille

Channeling the jazzy style of Billie, Sarah and Ella combined with the soulful vibe of Chaka comes the mutli-faceted singer and songwriter Marcya Daneille. Classically trained in both piano and voice she epitomizes beauty, talent and grace and once you experience her talent you aren’t soon to forget. Marcya Daneille was born in Stuttgart Germany began studying and performing at the age of 7. As a competitive singer during her undergraduate studies, Marcya was able to continue developing her career as a singer and pianist. She is the recipient of numerous awards including, ‘Young Artist of the Year with the Lakeview Music Society,’ ‘Young Artist of the Year with the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee,’ an honorable mention from N.A.T.S

Rome Neal

As a Jazz Vocalist, Rome has performed at Town Hall, The Metropolitan Room, The Museum Of The City Of New York, Jazzy Jazz Festival, Sister's Place, The Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival, Saint Nick's Pub, Lenox Lounge, 966Jazz, The Nuyroican Poets Cafe, The Jazz Spot, Creole's, and as the lead vocalist for the Bill Lee Mo' Betta Band. Mr. Neal has a CD entitled: "A Bighter Crooner" and his two DVDs, Rome Neal, “All in The Puddin’” and “Rome Neal’s Banana Puddin’ a Night to Remember”

Jon Cleary

Beyond Cleary’s considerable skills as a tunesmith he is equally renowned around the globe as an accomplished keyboardist and guitarist, and a deeply soulful vocalist. Cleary’s thirty-five years of intensive hands-on work on the Crescent City scene has made him a respected peer of such New Orleans R&B icons as Dr. John and Allen Toussaint. Toussaint, in fact, took time from his busy schedule to write most of the horn arrangements for GoGo Juice – thus bringing symmetry to Cleary’s recording of an entire album of Toussaint songs, entitled Occapella, which garnered rave reviews in 2012. In addition to the Toussaint touch, GoGo Juice bursts, full flavor, with expert accompaniment by some of New Orleans’ top session men – including guitarist Shane Theriot, fellow keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, and the Dirty Dozen horns – along with members of Cleary’s band, the Absolute Monster Gentlemen
