I was born in Manchester, England. My musical interest started at about the age of 13 years where l followed my brothers footsteps into the school band which later became the Ashton on Mersey Youth Showband. My brother played the Trombone whilst l played Alto and later the Tenor saxophone. One of my first regular gigs with this band was a residency on Morecambe pier every Sunday evening. I started singing at the age of about 16. Moved to London at around 24. Recorded a few tracks for Atlantic Records and chased record deals for a while. I worked as in house programmer and engineer for Morrison- Leahy Music

Catarina Dos Santos is a fusion of the arts. An arranger, composer, lyricist, guitarist and percussionist, she also has a degree in a visual art, Painting. To understand Catarina's style, mix a little bit of jazz and pop with some Brazilian music. Then sprinkle some Puerto Rican music influence on top of a blend of Portuguese, Cape Verdean and Angolan rhythms. The finishing touch on these sounds is her smooth yet powerful voice, and in the Spring of 2009, she released her debut record, entitled "No Balanço do Mar" showcasing all of her abilities. Henry Manetta and the Trip

Henry Manetta and the Trip Henry Manetta (vocals), Adam Rudegeair (piano) , Adam Spiegl (bass), Ron Romero (saxophone) Sam Hall (drums). From the Adelaide avant-blues band Precious Memories to Melbourne and the Trip, Henry has shared stages with Paul Kelly, Jo Camilleri, The Twoks, Harry Angus and Steve Sedergreen amongst others. He has performed in Bangkok with Alice Day and at The Rainbow Hotel for a memorable duet with Australian blues icon Wendy Saddington. Henry’s debut album ‘Shiver’ was recorded with a line up that included Australian jazz legends Bob Sedergreen and Geoff Kluke, and was released in 2001. Henry met Adam Rudegeair at the now legendary Dizzy’s jam sessions and out of this musical marriage the Trip was born and Henry and Adam have remained the nucleus of the band, and the primary songwriters, through the last few years. The first Trip album ‘Bijou Box’ was released in 2004 and launched at Dizzy’s in Melbourne, The Governor Hindmarsh in Adelaide and Soup Plus in Sydney. The Trip has opened for Renee Geyer, regularly feature at both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals and has performed an entire show dedicated to the music of Sun Ra. They also work with the new spoken word movement in shows such as ‘Erosophy.’ In their home universe of Melbourne they can frequently be found at the Paris Cat and recently launched the limited edition run of their new album ‘Sexjazz’ at Bennetts Lane, followed by launches of it’s Trailblazer Records release at The Wheatsheaf in Adelaide and Slide in Sydney

Her eclectic blend of jazz, blues, spirituals, country, pop and improvisational style and range make her comfortable with Jazz from BeBop to Swing to soulful Ballads. Tamara Obrovac

The composer singer and flutist Tamara Obrovac, is one of the most impressive artists on the Croatian music scene, she is one of those musicians to whom jazz means a path to understanding music as a whole. Moreover, it has ushered her towards an intensive investigation of her own regional music awareness, so she offers us a new musical journey through the Istrian and Mediterranean spaces and times. Istria is here homeland, beautiful Croatian region, a North Adriatic peninsula, particular for It's musical and dialectal tradition, which is the creative force of her works. She writes lyrics in a local dialect and sings in an ancient dialect which is not spoken any more - the Istriotic dialect. In addition to here international concert activities, (numerous festivals, clubs, venues, more then 500 concerts all over the world) and many collaborations, she composes music for theatre and film, and for here work she received many awards. Her international Transhistria Ensemble incorporates elements of Istrian and Mediterranean national music, jazz, and many elements of modern music, and her music, completely original and autochthonous, goes beyond time and geographical boundaries, thus becoming a universal artistic message, establishing Tamara Obrovac as an exceptional artist who managed to create her own unique musical expression. This creative musician has become known for her highly aesthetic performances, her interpretations are suffused with spontaneity, inventive improvisation, freedom, humour and the ability to communicate with the audience, an artist of a strong persona, a life and artistic force able to enchant any audience... As she said: "jazz is my freedom, and my roots are my inner truth..." She published 12 Author CDs: Triade, 1996; Ulika, 1998; Transhistria, 2001; Sve pasiva/Everything fades away, 2003; Daleko je/Is faraway, 2005; Neću više jazz kantati/I won’t sing jazz any more, 2009, featuring her new band “Transhistria electric” with a fresh fusion of Istrian ethno and funky and soul music; and "Madirosa", 2011, in collaboration with the Epoque String Quartet from Prague. CD “Ulika revival” with her quartet, that had successful showcase on Jazz-ahead Bremen 2013, (Unit records, Switzerland, June 2014) got very good international reviews including All About Jazz, Jazzthetik, Jazz Podium, Jazzthing, Kulturtipp, Jazz'nmore, Jazz convention, etc. CD “Canto amoroso” with her main band Transhistria ensemble, registered at Artesuno studio in Italy is published, in 2016 for Austrian label Alessa records. Live at ZKM is Tamara's first (double) live album recorded on the concert of her Transhistria ensemble in Zagreb Youth theatre at the and of 2016, and published for Cantus, Croatian composers society label in 2018. The CD TransAdriaticum was published in 2019 for Austrian Alessa records with the new formation of musicians, featuring Stefano Battaglia on piano, and Salvatore Maiore on double bass, and latest CD Villa Idola is published in 2020 for Croatian label Aquarius records, and is a collaboration of her Transhistria ensemble and Croatian Radio television Jazz orchestra, with new arrangements of selected Tamara's songs. Through her albums, Tamara profiles her own authorial approach and creates a unique artistic form which, inspired by the Istrian and broader Mediterranean tradition, establishes “the personal poetics of the author”. Candice J. Hincks was born in Caribou, Maine. At an early age, she moved to the Great Northwest. Thereafter, Hollywood beckoned where for over thirty years, she remains an accomplished, award winning actress, singer and performing artist. Hincks is a critically acclaimed, award-winning actress and veteran of the L.A. theatre scene, remembered most notably in the MET Theatre’s Bus Stop, Picnic, (with Nick Nolte,) and 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, where she received the L.A. Drama Critics Award.
