Atom™: Winterreise

Vince Seneri: The Prince´s Groove

Read "The Prince´s Groove" reviewed by AAJ Italy Staff

Vince Seneri: The Prince's Groove

Read "The Prince's Groove" reviewed by Edward Blanco

A masterful keyboardist who has been performing for over twenty years, Vince “The Prince" Seneri releases a scorcher of an album with The Prince's Groove, definitely one of the best jazz organ recordings around. Seneri, who was given the nickname by his peers, plays the Hammond B3 organ with a unique sound and style, making him ...

Vince Seneri: Street Talk

Read "Street Talk" reviewed by Robert R. Calder

This one's on the lightweight side, and devalued by an excess of percussion, probably mostly from poor balance during engineering. “Steamrollin" is described as “dedicated and written for Jimmy Smith by Vince Seneri," but where Smith swung like “. . ." (quoting the three dots from somebody else's album title of long ago), the bad balance ...

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
