Trusted on the bandstand, in concert halls, the studio, and the pit orchestras of Broadway, Tyrone Allen II has become one of the most sought - after bassists on the New York City scene and a generational talent on the global stage. Since 2018, his work has been recognized by The New York Times, JazzTimes, WBGO, and he was named a Rising Star Bassist in the 2025 DownBeat Critics Poll.
