Alistair Martin
24 year old Alistair Martin is a Trumpet player and Composer from London. After attending The Brit School, he studied Jazz at the Royal Academy of Music. Alistair cites Miles Davis, David Bowie and Kanye West as influences, in the way that they cross genres, take risks and have evolved as artists. Alistair’s ambitious debut album Oblivion features some of London’s most exciting young jazz musicians; Quinn Oulton, Will Barry, Dave Storey and Daisy George. The concept album has been hugely influenced by current social and political issues, such as climate change and conflict, as well as many others.

Chet Chwalik
Born:
Chet is Director and playing trumpet with his sextet, the Sacramento Classic Jazz Messengers, playing some of his favorites from the Art Blakey group of the mid-60's, as well as a number of original compositions. Additionally Chet plays with drummer Mat Marucci in the Classic Jazz Organ Trio, which plays the music of Jimmy Smith and others. Chet continues to work with his music business, The Tuning Note Music Studio. In addition to having over 70 students studying piano, trumpet, baritone horn, French horn, and jazz improv, Chet continues to do audio transcription/chart creation, and piano tuning.

Aaron Bahr is a trumpeter, composer, and teacher living and working in New York City, where he performs
both as a bandleader and sideman. His latest album release is titled Places, Real and Imagined..
Since moving to New York in 2015 Bahr has performed as both a sideman and bandleader at some of the best
Jazz clubs in the city, including Smalls, Fat Cat, and Zinc Bar. He was a member of the Jazz Quintet Groove
Merchant, recording on their self-titled 2016 album and touring Japan in March 2017. He also performs
regularly with Pianist/Composer Tetsuro Hoshii's group "The Doggy Cats." Bahr’s own current septet project
features his original compositions and arrangements, played by an international cast of innovative, imaginative,
and virtuosic musicians.
Aaron has also earned accolades for his big band writing, winning both the 2015 SF Jazz HUT Foundation

Our quest is to understand the purpose and significance of the phenomena the humans called "music". Summer Camargo

Summer Camargo is a 23-year-old jazz trumpeter and composer who was recently named "25 for the future" rising stars of jazz by DownBeat magazine. Summer is a native of Hollywood, Florida and a Jerome Greene Fellowship recipient at The Juilliard School, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Summer is a regular performer at notable NYC jazz clubs like Dizzy’s and Birdland, as well as a member of the Mingus Big Band. In 2022 Summer became the newest and youngest member of the Saturday Night Live house band and is also enjoying her most recent role as a band member in Broadway’s new musical, Just in Time.
