Mark J. Inouye is one of a very select group of trumpeters equally at home in the worlds of classical and jazz music. Inouye currently performs with the San Francisco Symphony but has also held principal trumpet positions with the Houston and Charleston Symphonies. He has performed under the baton of Kurt Masur with the New York Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta with The Israel Philharmonic. As a soloist, he performed the Tartini Violin Concerto arranged for trumpet with the Houston Symphony and the Haydn and Tomasi Concerti with the New World Symphony. He has also appeared with the Tanglewood Wind Ensemble under Seiji Ozawa in volumes 3 and 4 of the video production, Marsalis on Music, performing the Carnival of Venice Variations and the Hummel Trumpet Concerto

Trumpeter, vocalist and percussionist Pete Rodríguez carries the bloodline of Nuyorican salsa as he takes the tradition of Afro-Cuban jazz to new places. The son of renowned salsero Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez and godson Dr. Pete Rodriguezof Fania Records bandleader Johnny Pacheco, the younger Rodríguez cut his teeth backing up some of the greatest names in Latin music. He became his father’s musical director at the age of 19. Coached by pianist Oscar Hernandez, the former director for "El Conde" and Ruben Blades, Rodríguez was playing trumpet, singing coro, playing maracas and giving cues to the band

As a child, Corey Wilkes was surrounded by the sounds of Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk and Jazz. He picked up the trumpet for the first time at the age of 10. Starting with the school band, Corey's natural talent immediately began to flourish. He dominated his peers in both group and solo competitions, always taking first place. His confidence and maturity were well beyond his years. As a student at Rich South High School in Richton Park, Illinois, his hard work and dedication secured a spot in the Illinois All State Honors Jazz Combo; the first student in the school's history to do so. The Iter concept, developed by Anastos (it's not that deep, folks), is a musical journey down the Roman road, or iter common crossword clue), of jazz. The compositions are eclectic, ranging from the title cut, Iternity, which offers intertwined harmonies by the horns over a revolving foundation played by the rhythm section before bursting into a hard bop, to Carousel which starts as a child's nightmare on the county fair's carousel but ends in a smooth, flowing ride. Liam Sillery

Trumpeter and composer Liam Sillery was introduced to music at an early age by his uncle, also a trumpet player. Liam considers himself fortunate to have been surrounded through the years by fine teachers and musicians. Most significant during his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida was the great tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson. Before going on to attend the Manhattan School of Music, he performed as a freelance musician. At MSM he studied with Cecil Bridgewater, Dave Liebman, Phil Markowitz, Joan Stiles, Mark Soskin, and Garry Dial. In 2004 Liam released his first recording as a leader, Minor Changes (OA2 22020)

Linley is a jazz trumpet player, educator and broadcaster who lives in Ireland. He is also curator at Magy's Farm, a specialist jazz music venue in County Down that has hosted concerts by Jim Beard and Jon Herington, Paul Dunlea with Steve Hamilton, John Donegan Quintet, Seamus Blake and Bill Carrothers, Ari Hoenig, Tom Ollendorff and Conor Chaplin, Paul Booth Quintet and many more.
