Ian Gordon-Lennox Trumpet, euphonium, tuba Ian Gordon-Lennox was born in 1958 in Ottawa, Canada. He studied classical music and jazz in Geneva. Since the late 1970's, he has toured in Europe, Russia, the Baltic States, Africa and the USA, playing with musicians such as Glen Ferris, Erik Truffaz, Barre Phillips, Tom Varner or Dominique Pyfarely in numerous festivals, including Montreux and Willisau. His marked interest for audiovisual arts and all forms of on- stage expression lead him to compose for several bands as well as for theatre, "theatrical music" and dance, as well as participating in many recordings. Teacher at the Montreux Jazz Conservatory and at the Professionnal Jazz School in Geneva, he has also founded his own band,«Ian Gordon-Lennox Low Brass»

Carlos Abadie

Carlos started his professional career with Jason Linder and his Big Band, then on to Ben Dixon’s Sextet and Charlie Persips’ Big Band. By 2005 he was playing with Illinois Jacquet’s Big Band. In 2009 Carlos had the opportunity to play in Odean Pope’s ensemble “Odean’s List”. Being in that ensemble enabled Carlos to travel much of Europe. Through this recent association with Bassist/Historian Andy Gonzalez, has had the opportunity to play with Grupo Folklorico y Experimental Nuevayorquino(of which he is the newest member) and Conjunto Libre. In his 20 years as a professional in New York City, Carlos has worked with Junior Mance, Charlie Persip, Billy Hart, Odean Pope, Louis Hayes, Ben Dixon, Illinois Jaquet, Ira Sullivan, Oliver Lake, Frank Lacey Big Band, David Murray, Ben Wolfe, James Carter, Freddie Redd, Ned Goold, Mike Karn, Melton Mustafa, Pete Minger, Bill Mobely, Ellington Orchestra, Kevin Mahogony, Ray Santos Orchestra, Bobby Sanabria's Big Band, Grupo Folklorico, Conjunto Libre, Andy Gonzalez, Jerry Gonzalez, Steve Berrios, Joel Ford, Steve Turre and Pequeno Johnny Rivero’s The NY CARTEL to name a few. The Carlos Abadie Quintet was formed in 2008

Aaron Woolley

Born: April 18, 1994

Aaron Woolley is a Trumpet player in the Los Angeles area who is trained in Big Band Jazz, as well as Classical. He began playing piano at the age of 4, and has taken lessons since. He began playing trumpet after the 4th grade, and has studied with Mark Nowak, Michael Timson, Charles Lauer, Tim Saeger, and he currently studies with former Canadian Brass lead trumpet, Jens Lindemann. He has played with the likes of Doug Meusson and Les Kepics. He has played in many professional gigs with orchestras, concert bands, jazz bands, and musicals. He plans to continue his music education at Colburn University.

John Blevins

Born in Michigan, raised in Indiana, and now home in New York City, trumpeter and composer John Blevins has performed and/or recorded with Matterhorn, Line of Sight, Wing Walker Orchestra, Drew Williams Nonet, Cerebral People Project, Festival of New Trumpet Music, Trumpet City, Out of Your Head Brooklyn, iconiQ: The Soundtrack Orchestra, Noah & the MegaFauna, Spirit Animal, Morningsiders, Atomic Funk Project, Brooks Frederickson, Leave a Lasting Mark, and Actionplay among others. John's latest original project, MATTERHORN, released its debut album on pfMENTUM records in November 2015

Tito Carrillo

Born: December 29, 1972

Tito Carrillo is one of the finest trumpeters to emerge from Chicago’s rich jazz trumpet legacy. He is an accomplished trumpeter, educator, bandleader, and composer, and since 1996 he has been a fixture in the Chicago jazz and latin music scenes. A native of Austin, Texas, the list of artists he has performed, recorded, and toured with is as varied and impressive as his skill set.

He has worked with Chicago heavyweights Willie Pickens, Ryan Cohan, Juan Pastor's Chinchano, and Geof Bradfield; big bands such as the Woody Herman Orchestra (Frank Tiberi, director), the Chicago Jazz Ensemble (Bill Russo and Jon Faddis, directors), the Chicago Jazz Orchestra (Jeff Lindberg, director), and the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (David Baker, director); jazz greats such as drummer Louis Hayes, trumpeter Jon Faddis, and saxophonist Vincent Herring; Salsa legends such as Andy Montañez, Tony Vega, and Cheo Feliciano; latin jazz figures such as Orlando "Maraca" Valle and Paquito D’Rivera; and pop icons Quincy Jones and Phil Collins.

Goran Kajfes

Goran is of Croatian heritage, grown up in Sweden in a family of musicians and artists. He is, since many years, an obvious authority at the very core in the Swedish music scene. A sought after session player, touring musician, arranger and producer. Goran has performed with José Gonzales, Stina Nordenstam, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Lester Bowie, The Soundrack of our Lives and many many others. Last year he was appointed Artist in Residence at Stockholm Jazz Festival. He was given the honour of composing and performing the opening ceremony of Stockholm Museum of Modern Art in 2006. He's written music to several movies and produced a number of albums including ”Clint” by Oddjob that was named Jazz Album of the Year by Sunday Times in the UK 2010. Kajfes debut Home (2001), where a mulitude of influences was mixed into an appealing and spicy brew established him as being at the forefront of crossover visionary electro-jazz
