Musician

Thomas Julienne

Thomas Julienne is a double bass player, composer, and arranger who continuously pushes the boundaries of music. Known for his eclectic style and insatiable curiosity, he has made a mark on the music scene with energy and innovation. His Algerian, Norman, and Indo-Vietnamese roots embody multiculturalism and openness. He began by exploring the guitar and experimental rock, but it was the double bass that became his true playground, where he blends jazz, classical music, and free improvisation.

Trained by French double bass masters such as Jean-Paul Macé, Kent Carter, Gilles Naturel, and Jean-Philippe Viret, he developed his skills in orchestration and arrangement with experts Christophe Dal Sasso and Carine Bonnefoy.
