Claudia Vorbach

Claudia Vorbach is a singer-songwriter and a jazz vocalist that comes from Tübingen, Southern Germany. Jazz, Folk and Blues is crossing her songwriting. She grew up in a musical home with Jazz and classical music. She took piano lessons and learned guitar playing as a self-educator. Later on she developed her voice with different teachers. Mainly the Jazz Vocalist Freddy Wilkes and then Fola Dada, both in Germany. “Miss Authentic” one of her fellow musicians has called her, a nickname that expresses an essential feature of her music. The way she sings makes you feel her passionate urge to get across to the audience what she herself feels about her songs. For her each song has a kind of impetus which she wants to follow while composing the music

Lorenzo Petrocca

Lorenzo Petrocca, born in 1964 at Crotone/southern Italy, came to Germany in 1979 as an emigrant with his family. He mastered the big changes of the two cultures and the loss of everything familiar to him by the boxing - a sport he already practised in Italy before. In 1981 he succeeded in being the Champion of Wuerttemberg in his weight class. From 1982 on he showed his first musical interests. At that time he was already 18 years old. And so he bought his first electric guitar. Soon after that he already played with Italian dance bands, from 1986 on within soul and funk bands among American soldiers

Calaminus is a non-profit one-man-project from Stuttgart/Germany with the aim to produce groove-orientated instrumental music with the focus on genres like Funk, Fusion, (Acid/Nu)Jazz and Groove Pop, spiced with some ethnic influences of the worlds music sometimes. It started 2003 after a decade as a Singer/Songwriter on guitars & vocals and some bandwork. Since then I mainly work with sequencing, plug-ins, keys, samples and loops. Nearly everything you hear is sequenced (MIDI), but it should sound band-like. As Calaminus I also released 4 albums which can be downloaded for FREE as well:
Filet de Fonque (2010)
On the Trail (2012)
Grooveyard (2013)
To Another Place (2014)
These albums and all Calaminus music works are available for free under Creative Common Licence (CC-NC-ND), self-produced and strictly for non-commercial use! For more infos and music (downloads) visit the following sites:
