The Pearcy / Gratzmiller Jazz Quintet

The Pearcy/ Gratzmiller Jazz Quintet offers an energetic, fresh take on hard bop jazz that all audiences can enjoy. PGJQ performs original music composed by its co-leaders Wayne Pearcy (Trumpet) and Aaron Gratzmiller (Saxophone), which combine modern music elements with the soulful sound of classic Jazz quintets. They have performed on WHRB radio, and were featured for the second time on the 502 Sessions with Brian Kerby in November 2018. “Over the Edge” is the title of the PGJQ’s debut album. It contains 10 original compositions written over the course of nearly a decade by Pearcy and Gratzmiller

Drummer/percussionist/producer Michael Shapiro has a very diverse career in the music buisness. He acts as producer for his wife, vocalist Kevyn Lettau. He maintains a very active touring schedule with many artists in a variety of genres and he spends time in the studios of L.A. lending his sound to many recordings. Some of the artists Michael has recorded and toured with include: Debby Boone, Brian Bromberg, Bobby Caldwell, Nell Carter, Dori Caymmi, Eliane Elias, Pete Escovedo, Frank Gambale, Jimmy Haslip, Al Jarreau, L.A. All Stars, Kevyn Lettau, Armando Manzanero, Maureen McGovern, Sergio Mendes, Airto Moreira, John Patitucci, Flora Purim, Lee Ritenour, Michael Ruff, Brenda Russell, Bud Shank, Andy Summers, Toots Thielemans, Randy Travis, Sadao Watanabe and many others. Michael currently teaches Ensemble Workshops, Latin Drumming, Funk Drums, Groove Class, and Music Listening. He has played venues from C.B.G.B.'S to Carnegie Hall in the U.S

TIM WOLFE, JR. keeps a busy schedule as a performer, recording artist, and educator based out of Philadelphia. Equally comfortable on double bass and electric bass, and fitting in any musical situation, from jazz to orchestral, theater to rock bands, Tim has played in a variety of settings and styles all along the Eastern seaboard and internationally. He holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from The University of the Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in music from Lebanon Valley College. In addition to keeping a busy performing schedule, he is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College

Mason Andruskiewicz

After taking snare drum lessons as a kid, Mason renewed his passion for drumming while studying biomedical engineering at WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts. Soon after graduating, he found himself playing jazz gigs in Worcester and Boston. He began studying jazz drums with Dan MacDonald at Music Maker Studios in Brighton, MA. Mason takes inspiration from many great drummers across different genres of music. Some of his favorites are Steve Gadd, Idris Muhammad, and John Bonham.

Josh Feldstein

Verve Jazz Ensemble leader Josh Feldstein has been a jazz drummer for more than 30 years. The VJE's 5th album, "Connect The Dots," to be released in July 2018, features Josh Feldstein on drums supported by an expanded VJE septet and a front line of horns including trumpet, tenor, alto / flute, and trombone. A native New Yorker who grew up on the NYC jazz scene, Josh has studied with drum legends John Riley and Joe Morello. Josh formed the VJE in 2006 as a local jazz group in the Danbury, CT area. The straight-ahead jazz group – which paid homage to the legendary music of the famed Verve record label – soon took off with a large local following

Dan Andersen is an Austin, Texas based guitarist who performs with the Temple Jazz Orchestra. Some of the Austin venues which he has worked include The Elephant Room, Brass House, One-2-One Bar, and Central Market North. Additionally, he has performed at the Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival, and Houston’s premier jazz club, Cezanne. As a leader, he recorded the album The Spark and appears as co-leader with trombonist Marco Katz on the EP entitled In New Orleans, the 2022 Composer’s Collective’s The Heights Life, and as a side musician on Julia LaShae’s album Introducing… which was voted the #3 album of 2003 in New Orleans by the Times-Picayune
