A native New Englander, music has always been Maryanne’s passion. This passion and her dream to live in ‘California’, inspired by Joni Mitchell’s song, were both realized back in the 90’s. Since then, she’s appeared at countless venues from clubs and festivals to some of L.A.'s top jazz rooms including the world-renown Catalina Jazz Club, the World Stage Performance Gallery and the Southern California Jazz Festival

Filippo Bianchini

Born: September 16, 1982

Filippo Bianchini was born in Orvieto, Italy, but he lives from 0 to 8 years in Rome. Thanks to the father's collection of LP and a family friend, Alberto Casasoli, began studying music at 7 years hold. At 10,he started playing the tenor saxophone. Shortly after, he began his first lessons of sax with Mauro Verrone, who introduced him to the great music of Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Massimo Urbani and many others.

At 18 years hold, he starts the class of Saxophone with Mario Raja at the Conservatory F.Morlacchi of Perugia, where he graduated in 2007, obtaining the highest marks (10/10). In September 2007 he moved to Netherlands in the city of The Hague to gets a specialization at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag. Here, he has the opportunity to study with one of the greatest european musicians: the american saxophonist and clarinetist John Ruocco.

Leora Cashe

Born: February 3, 1961

From her home town of Vancouver to Italy, Belgium and the UK, Leora's rich resounding voice and dynamic stage presence have garnered numerous accolades. She reaches into the core of the listener with an exquisite range of emotional power and ignites a soulful perspective; weaving together jazz, blues and gospel. She has recorded and performed in concert with many celebrated Canadian artists including Denzal Sinclaire, Jim Byrnes, Shari Ulrich, Canadian jazz legend Tommy Banks for CBC Radio and TV, and opened for the late Stanley Turrentine at Vancouver's International Jazz Festival. This well loved Vancouver treasure, has released two gospel CDs; “Inspiration” and her debut recording“Tears of Joy” received a WCM nominee and she has released two jazz vocal CDs; “My Heart Stood Still” and “Another Side Now: The Songs of Joni Mitchell"

Joel Holmes

Born: December 6, 1982

Joel Holmes began teaching himself tunes by ear at age 10. He grew up playing with local bands and primarily in church. His family soon moved from Virginia to Baltimore so that he could attend the Baltimore School for the Performing Arts. Later, Joel Holmes became the Director of Jazz at his alma mater. He attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music at John Hopkins University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance. Over the years, Joel has received numerous honors including 2 Grammy Nominations, a gold medal in the Act-so competition of the NAACP, and honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, a finalist in the fifth annual Independent Music Awards and an honorable mention in the VH1 Song of the Year Awards
