Halley Elwell is a songwriter whose memorable melodies, vibrant imagery and wit pull the ear somewhere old and new. Elwell boldly exhibits this in her song Sisters on the J Train, recently named a John Lennon Songwriting Contest finalist in the jazz catagory.
