Lucy Wijnands

With her serene, spirited tone, emerging jazz vocalist Lucy Wijnands is a dedicated enthusiast of jazz music from its beginnings to today. Now a recent graduate and the Ella Fitzgerald scholar at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase, Wijnands has been named the 1st place winner of the 4th annual Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition. ​Wijnands has drawn inspiration from Jazz Studies director Peter Malinverni, voice professor Alexis Cole, Ingrid Jensen and jazz icon, Jon Faddis, with whom she has performed at the Louis Armstrong Museum and Jazz Forum Arts, among other places. Wijnands has also received the 2020 President's Award for Achievement for the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music as well as a Downbeat Student Music Award as Outstanding Jazz Vocal Soloist

Kristin Callahan

Kristin has been singing and performing since she was 8 years old. She began studying jazz and piano in 2009 and performs at festivals and venues such as the Mid Atlantic Jazz Festival, SOUTH, Montpelier Arts Center, Wine in the Woods, Woodmere Art Museum, Rockwood Music Hall, Twins Jazz, and Rams Head On Stage with the Chuck Redd Quintet. In 2015, Kristin recorded “Poor Butterfly” with bassist, Blake Meister for the Maryland Public Television show, “Artworks.” In November 2017, she sang for the NBC Executive’s Event with guitarist, Rich Barry and pianist, Pascal Le Boeuf and a month later was featured in the Melting Pot Big Band at the Havre De Grace Opera House

Brian Woods is an African-American pianist, vocalist, producer, songwriter, actor, and author. Brian’s musical roots are based out of the gospel church in Akron, Ohio where he has performed for most of his life, but his musical accolades expand far beyond that. Serving as a radio DJ for 88.9 “The Edge,” he began to broaden his musical tastes. In college, he also ran security for the national entertainment acts that were brought in. It was there that Brian saw his future. On a fateful evening working detail for Blessed Union of Souls, Brian saw one man playing a piano and singing and watched as it transformed the entire atmosphere

Stephanie Lottermoser

Stephanie Lottermoser started taking classical piano lessons and vocal training at the age of 7, with 14 she started to play saxophone and took lessons with Karsten Gorzel, Johannes Enders, Don Menza and Axel Kühn. She studied jazz saxophone with Leszek Zadlo at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. From 2000 - 2008 she was a member of the State Youth Jazz Orchestra Bavaria, also multiple winner in the competition "Jugend Jazzt" in the solo and ensemble classification. Since 2009 she is a teacher for saxophone and Combo in the workshop "Jazz Juniors" of the Bavarian State Youth Jazz Orchestra www.ljjb.de. In 2013/14 she received a six month scholarship oft he bavarian gouvernment for a stay at the "Cité Internationale des Arts" in Paris

Nina Ernst is a singer and actress, based in Berlin, Germany. She grew up near Hamburg, where she completed her education at the „Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama“ and the „Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg“. She then moved to Berlin, where she discovered her love for jazz singing. In addition to her classical singing training, she took lessons with jazz legend Sheila Jordan, among others. In 2006 she interpreted German folk songs in Brazilian music style on the album “Degas/Weiser - Heimat, von fern so nah” (label: Piranha Musik), with which she subsequently toured South America

Giuliano Ligabue is an Italian singer, guitarist, arranger and composer. He is an exceptional interpreter of the Great American Songbook, endowed with a crooner’s voice and a great mastery of guitar. He is one among the few musicians in Italy who plays a seven strings guitar inspired by George Van Eps, Bucky and John Pizzarelli. He released three albums: “Swing Affair” (2013) with his own drumless trio to honor the musical style of Nat King Cole, “Live at Summertime in Jazz” (2016) recorded live with a band of 8 musicians to recreate the intimate musical atmosphere of the Big Bands and “Ci può stare” (2019) which includes original songs in Italian language and international hits by Frank Sinatra, Sting, Queen, Nina Simone and Elvis Presley, expertly arranged by Giuliano

Noam Wolf

Noam Wolf is an Israeli vocal artist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Her musical projects have been showcased in some of the biggest venues in Israel and around the world. Born and raised in Reut, Israel, and as the niece of famous Israeli Singer Yehushua Limoni, Noam was introduced to music at a very early age and started singing at 4 years old. She managed her own business of music ensembles for events in Israel and around the world and has written and recorded several songs that have been aired on national radio and television channels in Israel. Apart from her original music work, she specializes in vocal arrangements, composition, and voice-over. Wolf had studied at Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music between the years of 2014 and 2016, after which she studied and graduated at Y.Z.M College, receiving her diploma in Business Entrepreneurship. During her studies at Rimon, Wolf got to learn from and perform with some of the best musicians in the country, all of which are considered to be milestones of the Israeli music and jazz scenes
