Burchfield-Vituri Project
The Burchfield-Vituri Project is an ongoing series of collaborations between American saxophonist/woodwind doubler Tyler Burchfield and Brazilian guitarist Pedro Vituri. Influenced by modern and free jazz, traditional Brazilian music, modern classical, as well as funk and rock, Tyler and Pedro explore a wide sound palate, showcasing compositions and arrangements for duo, quartet, and larger ensemble, all of which can be heard on their debut album, Metonímia, released in March of 2018. Additionally, their versatility as performer-composers has served them well in collaborating on chamber music projects and film scores with other artists

Muriel Grossmann
Born:
Austrian alto, soprano, tenor saxophonist and composer Muriel Grossmann was born in Paris and grew up in Vienna, where she initiated classical studies of flute at the age of five until twenty-one, when she switched to alto and soprano saxophone and started playing and touring with various rhythm & blues, funk, world music and jazz groups and artists such as Hans Tschiritsch, Shani Ben Canar, Christoph Kurzmann, Geri Schuller, Pete Hoven, Robert Rehak, The Original Brothers.
In 2002 she moved to Barcelona where she started to lead her own bands for recordings and concerts. Muriel Grossmann is resident in Ibiza since 2004, which marks a very fruitful recording and performing period.

Polygon Quartet

Julian Pressley
Julian Pressley is an alto saxophonist, born in Philadelphia who lives in North Jersey. During his career, he's worked with Edgar Bateman, Lionel Hampton, Aretha Franklin, Freddie Hubbard, the Four Tops, Panama Francis' Savoy Sultans, the Temptations, Odean Pope's Saxophone Choir, Warriors of the Wonderful Sound and is currently a member of the JC Hopkins Biggish Band.
