Rok Zalokar

Rok Zalokar is a pianist and composer from Slovenia, currently living and studying in Rotterdam. He's leading his trio that combines influences from jazz, rock and classical music, it blends everything from powerful rock grooves to slow lyrical soundscapes. Group plays original compositions with strong emphasis on mood and it's development, spiced up with improvisation. Since it's beginning in fall of 2010, trio has been developing personal sound and compositions with frequent live shows. In the spring of 2013 part of this wide repertoire got documented.
