Robin Hood attended Forrest Park Community College and University of Missouri at St. Louis, where he majored in Music Performance, String Bass and Russian Language Studies. Robin has been playing and teaching string bass and electric bass guitar for 30 years to private students. He has worked as a volunteer with the Carlmont High School Jazz Band in Belmont and Redwood Symphony in Redwood City. He has been on the Stanford Jazz Workshop Faculty for over 20 years. Robin is currently on the faculty at The Community School of Music in Mountain View, CA, teaching jazz and classical string bass and bass guitar.
