Luis Alas

Luis Alas is a contemporary saxophonist which has toured and performed with many of the top names in music including the late great George Duke. Luis is a consummate professional and performer which has recently released several chart topping single including All I Do which was at #1 for 3 weeks and his recent original "Together Forever" which up to the writing of this biography (Dec 2021) has been on the chart and climbing for 6 straight weeks.

Random Access Quartet

The Random Access Quartet is not your typical jazz quartet: this quartet's repertoire includes the pens of rock and pop artists, such as Radiohead, Blondie, and Led Zeppelin, alongside jazz artists Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane, to name a few. The Seattle-based quartet features Alexey Nikolaev on tenor sax, Chris Morton on piano, Steve Messick on double bass, and Christian Krehbiel on drums.

Dimitri Gollety

Dimitri is from a family of 5 children whose parents play piano in their moments of relaxation (mother on classical pieces and father’s on jazz tunes).

He will hear daily throughout his childhood regular bossa nova and jazz vinyl records of his relatives (especially Antonio Carlos Jobim and Errol Garner).

So from 6 years old, he sat at the piano and with his sole ears learnt to re-play melodies and song themes by memory.

At 15, at decision time for the rest of his education and career, music was deeply rooted in him.

But another very inner desire to found a happy family with children led him to favor a career in engineering, safer to support its future wife and children.

Sonia Johnson

Born: April 7, 1974

Les Productions Sonia Johnson, headquartered in Montreal, produced its first CD, Don’t explain in 2005 with the help of a grant from the Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la jeunesse [the Montreal Mayor’s Foundation for Youth]. The artist garnered critical acclaim for her first release. This first production allowed the jazz vocalist to gain recognition in her artistic field and new collaborations arose, such as her participation in Frédéric Alarie’s project Sous Hôte Tension part of the 2006 edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. Sharing a common vision of jazz music, Frédéric and Sonia decided to explore composing together, and were then joined by pianist Luc Beaugrand and drummer Camil Belisle
