2025 Numbers

Happy New Year, everyone! If you're like me, you spent the holidays cooking, reading, assembling puzzles, binging movies and shows, and listening to music while enjoying a bit of well-earned downtime.

As it relates to All About Jazz, we're hoping to be just as productive and creative in 2026 as we were in 2025. We picked up the pace this past year, and we expect more of the same as we continue building on the momentum that began when we kicked off our 30th year. The improvements we're making during this milestone year are significant and are helping shape a strategic direction that will serve us well for years to come.

As always, there's much work to do, and we'll continue to share our progress in our newsletters and right here, on my Publisher's Desk blog.

All About Jazz Member / Subscriber Stats

Both new member and new subscriber counts were down a bit from our previous years, but this year, in particular, can be attributed to stricter security measures and more effectively rooting out suspicious member accounts. Our Instagram follower and Substack subscriber counts are growing steadily.

Jazz Near You is the most comprehensive and advanced platform for discovering jazz events, and we're continually improving it. Listings concerts, venues, festivals, and more will remain free, and the platform is at its best when it's actively used by the community. Its success depends on broad participation from event presenters, and there are several ways to add events that appear on our website, in our newsletter, and in our app. We encourage you to explore the different listing options. If batch uploads or automated data feeds are your preferred method, we're happy to help you get started.

We've only begun to unlock the full potential of Jazz Near You, and maximizing its reach is a collaborative effort—one that benefits everyone involved.
