Robert Pinsky

Robert Pinsky has performed as a spoken word artist with musicians including Mino Cinélu, Catherine Bent, Bobby Bradford, Laurence Hobgood, Vijay Iyer, Josh Ritter, Stan Strickland and Bruce Springsteen. He is the only member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters to have appeared on The Simpsons and The Colbert Report. His albums with Laurence Hobgood are PoemJazz (2012) and House Hour: PoemJazz II (2015).

She even does her own unique adaptation of Fever that gives it a folksy, teasing quality that rescues it from the smoke and feathered boas of lost lounges. Beloveds

Beloveds is a cabaret, a burial ground, a circus, a lullaby. Beloveds is an ensemble that started in 2016 In Gothenburg, Sweden. Composer and singer Channa Riedel uses poetry in order to create music that is intimate, rugged and beautiful. They find inspiration from music such as Liberation Music Orchestra, Victor Jara, Hanns Eisler as well as Swedish and Jewish folk songs. Lyrics are by Palestinian, Swedish, American and Russian poets such as Vladimir Mayakovsky, Juliana Spahr, Stig Dagerman and Channa Riedel.  In October 2019 debut album "Så tar natten dig åter" was released on Swedish indie label Abrovinsch Records

Channa Riedel

Born: October 15, 1990

Channa Riedel is a writer, poet and musician. She recently graduated from the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg and the debut album of her band Beloveds was released in 2019. This year she will begin a master’s in Literary Composition at HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design, and is currently working on her first collection of poems. Sarah Bernstein

SARAH BERNSTEIN is a New York-based composer and violinist whose work incorporates vocals, electronics, improvisation and original text. She is known for her fiery multidisciplinary performances, and has garnered international acclaim for her distinctive recordings. She has released ten albums to date as a leader/coleader. She leads the Sarah Bernstein Quartet and VEER Quartet, and performs solo as Exolinger. Collaborations include her duo with drummer Kid Millions, synth-pop group Day So Far, and a range of projects in new jazz, chamber music, experimental pop and noise. She has placed in the DownBeat Critics Poll annually since 2015, winning “Rising Star Violinist” in 2020
