Steve Jones

Steve Jones is a Northwest native, resident in the Seattle area for the last 28 years. Though classically trained, Steve has always had jazz in his life, playing alto and tenor saxophone in college, and later studying jazz piano with Seattle’s own Dave Peck, Randy Halberstadt and Darin Clendenin. Favorite piano players are Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Benny Green, George Cables and Dave Peck.

Indian pianist Arunava Chatterjee AKA sonai is a well trained Jazz pianist. He started his musical journey by learning TABLA at the age of 5. At the age of 12, he started taking Piano classes from his father,is also a renowned keyboard player of the town. He also learnt bass guitar and worked with many famous musicians and bands. In 1995 he was selected in a program called "CALLING ALL CHILDREN", a special program for junior artists in All India Radio and performed till 1999. He started taking an exclusive jazz theory classes form a leading musician of Calcutta in the year 2001. 2002, he first joined a band and started performing in and out of town. As there was no such jazz course available in Calcutta he had to take lessons from the jazz musicians of the town
