JAKSPIN is a Greek/Lebanese producer, singer and DJ born and raised in Cologne, Germany, where he started writing rhymes at the age of 12, deejaying at age 14. He embarked on his musical career as a DJ in Cologne's legendary underground soul music club called Kauri Keller. His first official release was a party break 12“ vinyl winning the Club Bangaz Worldwide competition. After remixing R&B songs for the label Da Source Records he finally metamorphosed into the artist JAKSPIN with a new sound ranging from lofi hip hop beats to vintage 70s Jazz and R&B grooves. He began to gain recogintion with the release of his first beat tape „Beats From the Attic“

Emanuele Coluccia

Pianist, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Emanuele Coluccia has led his career between Europe and the United States. In his New York period, started in 1999, he embarked on a very active career both in concert activities (Brooklyn Film Festival, Lincoln Center, University of Stoneybrook, WAX Studios, German Consulate, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Princeton University) and in studio work. In the USA he collaborated with the American singer-songwriter Myla Hardie, the Afro-jazz artist Alain Kodjovi, the Italian singer Greta Panettieri, the German trumpet player / composer Volker Goetze, the French singer-songwriter Chris Combette, and took part in the European tours of the New York trumpet player Greg Glassman. Back in Italy, together with with Claudio Prima and Redi Hasa, he founded Bandadriatica: a project with which he has released 5 studio works, performed in several tours in Italy and abroad and had prestigious collaborations (King Naat Veliov and Kocani Orkestra, Eva Quartet, Raiz, Boban & Marko Markovic, Sabina Yannatou)

Dave was born on 24 March 1940 and was classically trained in piano from the age of 6, studying with Marie Gardner LRAM, Kathleen Long FRCM CBE, Jacques Fevrier CNSP and jazz greats Art Simmonds and Aaron Bridgers. Over a career spanning five decades David has played at a number of renowned venues in Paris and London including the Savoy, Ritz, Dorchester, Hilton Park Lane and Clifton Ford Hotels in London and the Crillon in Paris. He has also combined his passion for Jazz and love of Paris, now his home, by playing a large number of the city’s renowned jazz clubs including "Le Chat Qui Peche", Les Trois Maillets" and La Cigale with Jack Butler and Benny Walters and occasional invited guests such as Milt Hinton and Albert Nicholas. ​ Dave has also pursued a distinguished academic career in the UK heading two high school music departments as well as, later in his career, providing music and drama coaching to children with special needs and piano tuition at the BRIT school of performing arts in Croydon, UK. In recent years, following retirement from teaching, Dave has toured with the Pete Allen Dixieland Jazz Band and continues to make resident and guest appearances at small venues near his home in Paris such as Le Petit Journal (Montparnasse and St Michel), Au Point de Salut and Le Caveau de la Huchette.

Walter Gorra is an award-winning pianist, composer and arranger based out of the New York/New Jersey metro area. Currently 26 years old, Walter graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder Magna Cum Laude and High Honors in May 2017 with the following three degrees – MS Structural engineering, BM Jazz Piano and BS Civil Engineering. He then pursued a master’s degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging at William Paterson University, graduating in May 2019. In 2016, Walter led his Colorado quartet in a two-month residency at the Denver jazz club – Nocturne Jazz and Supper Club; performing his original music and arrangements

Norvald Dahl

Norwegian born pianist Norvald Dahl (b.1978) just finished his master degree at the highly acclaimed ´Norwegian academy of music´ in Oslo. He has been touring and playing professionally for the past ten years, and is associated with groups like the "Wayne Brasel Quartet" and his own quartet, the "Norvald Dahl trio plus Jon Irabagon". Dahl grew up with folk music and discovered the piano at early age. He soon discovered improvisation and found jazz to be the perfect vehicle for his expression. In his playing he combines influences from legends like Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans, and blends with lyricism from Norwegian folk music and a classical tone on the piano.

Tim Stevens and Shelley Scown

Born:

Tim Stevens (piano) and Shelley Scown (voice) first worked together at the end of Tim's undergraduate degree in 1992. They had engagements after that at Melbourne jazz clubs and at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz, and in 2000 recorded a session for Jim McLeod's Jazztrack (ABC Classic FM). Music from this recording, intermixed with pieces recorded the previous evening in a private solo recital, have been released in 2018 as 'this autumn year', available digitally only through Bandcamp.
