Jacopo Penzo

Jacopo Penzo is a producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Switzerland and raised in Milan, Italy, he lives in the US since 2012. Jacopo has a B.A. in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), and a M.A. in Media Studies and Media Management from The New School (New York, NY). He has produced, recorded, and mixed records for artists throughout different genres, from jazz (Tamara Usatova, Benjamin Furman, Yakir Arbib) to indie rock (Half/Brother, Stone Giant). He has also worked as postproduction sound editor for a broad range of clients, including major studios like HBO, Amazon Studios, and Netflix, as well as independent filmmakers and local businesses.

Kristina Barta

Born: January 23, 1987

Critics have described Czech pianist Kristina Barta as “fiery, expressive, eloquent, and stubborn.” Originally admitted to the Prague Conservatory as an oboist, she later embraced the piano and earned a prominent position in the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, garnering several prestigious awards. 

Barta, recognized internationally as both a composer and pianist, embarked on her musical journey after studying classical music and composition at the Prague Conservatory. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specializing in jazz piano. Her career has taken her on a constant whirlwind of tours, gracing renowned venues worldwide, including Jazzahead! (Germany), Bimhuis (Netherlands), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Steyr Jazz Festival (Austria), V4 Jazz Festival (Hungary), Strasbourg’s Jazzdor (France), D'Jazz Nevers (France), A Trane (Germany), and many others.

Unit 3 Deep

Born: May 14, 1972

Good Day! Unit 3 Deep is comprised of a uniquely talented trio and highly sought-after professional musicians: pianist, producer and songwriter Patrick Cooper; bassist, songwriter, arranger and producer David Dyson; and drummer and producer Duane Thomas. Dave Meder

Sam Baum

Born: April 14, 1992

Sam began to play jazz piano in 2005 when he was 13, and immediately it was clear that jazz was Sam's language. Like many people on the autistic spectrum, Sam had never found the standard give and take of conversation easy or natural. Jazz improvisation, on the other hand, is where Sam is most clever, expressive, and naturally at home. Under the expert and caring guidance of his teachers, Trudy Silver, Danny Mixon, David Dormeus, Gary Dial, Dan Kaufman and Adam Rafferty, Sam has blossomed as a musician, becoming more and more skilled in the complex language of jazz improvisation and creating his own very expressive and personal style.
