Howard “Sergio” Tucker is a writer/poet and performer, whose music embodies cultural fusion. Regularly performing in Brazilian lounges, Black Jazz & Soul clubs, he proudly delivers his gospel of love to R&B/Bossa Nova/Samba rhythms. Tucker has performed his poetic works at the Kimmel Center, Rittenhouse Soundworks, Relish Restaurant, World Café Live, and Freedom Theater, with various local bands & Brazilian musicians such as vocalist/guitarist Juliano Bragga, percussionist Dendê Macedo and Afro Brazilian dancer Cleonice Fonseca. Paul Giess

Paul Giess is a trumpet player, music maker and educator living in Philadelphia. Paul's musical practice is rooted in the jazz tradition, as seen is his debut album "U Suite U", but his taste is adventurous as he looks for ways to bring new perspective to old ideas. Paul shows his commitment to community and music making through his continued dedication to his role as the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Parts and his role making music with people with developmental disabilities at the Center for Creative Works. Eric McGarry

Eric McGarry is a guitarist, composer, and educator based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

McGarry is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a Master of Music in Jazz Studies.  Prior to completing his Master of Music, McGarry earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with Honors, and a Minor in Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of the Arts.

McGarry has studied with prominent guitarists Dave Allen, Matt Davis, Tim Motzer, Kevin Hanson, Mike Kennedy, and Ben O’Neill. While attending UArts, McGarry held the guitar chair for the award winning Z Big Band, under the direction of Matt Gallagher.

Paul Midiri

Paul Midiri has performed on drums, vibraphone, and trombone in the Delaware Valley since the early 1980's. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Social Studies from Rowan University, he formed the Midiri Brothers Orchestra with his brother Joe. Together they have traveled across the United States performing in jazz festivals and concerts. He has also performed with the Seacoast Brass Quintet. Currently he is working on his fifth CD with the Midiri Brothers. Their group holds the attendance record at the Bridgewater NJ concert series.

"Melissa Gilstrap wears many hats when it comes to music. Composer, lyricist, record producer, vocalist, you can list them all. What amazes me is that she excels at each one. I have had the good fortune to collaborate with Melissa in writing songs that appear on my two latest CDs as well as on recordings by other artists. The lyrics she created for these songs are astonishing in their originality, with subject matter that is far from ordinary. She has recently contributed her talents to a recording project with the late, great guitarist, composer, Tom Giacabetti. Melissa acted as producer of this CD as well as lyricist, vocalist and even as guitarist on one of her original instrumental compositions
