Vitaly Golovnev

Born: February 21, 1976

Trumpeter Vitaly Golovnev was born on February 21. 1976 in Nalchik, Russia into a family of musicians. Throughout 90s, he extensively studied Classical and Jazz music in such an established schools of Russia as National College of Musical Arts and Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins. During that time Mr. Golovnev has performed with well known musicians and veterans of Russian/Soviet Jazz Scene and has established his reputation as new coming talent. In November of 2003 Mr. Golovnev moved to New York City. Since his arrival he has found himself in high demand working with many of New York’s most prominent Big Band’s including the Mingus Big Band, David Berger and "Sultans Of Swing" Orchestra, Arturo O'Farrill and his Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Brooklyn Big Band, and Hal McKusick Nonet as well as many Jazz combos

Yoav Eshed

Yoav Eshed is an award-winning guitarist and and composer born in Israel, based in Brooklyn, NY. Yoav started to play the piano at the age of 3 and displayed prodigious abilities playing Haydn, Bach and Mendelssohn. He picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and found his unique way to play the guitar with a pianist approach. Since then he has been performing around the world with top Israeli jazz musicians. He has annually received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships for Jazz since 2008. Received scholarships from the ‘NY New School for Jazz’ and won the ‘Prestigious Dean Award’ from Berklee College Of Music as well as the Guitar Achievement Award from Berklee for an outstanding musicianship

Matt Savage, age 28, has had a remarkable 19-year professional career as a jazz musician, bandleader and composer with ensembles of different size. He’s played with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Chick Corea, the Ellington All Stars, Chaka Khan, Wynton Marsalis, Bobby Watson, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, Jason Moran, Arturo O’Farrill, John Pizzarelli, Joshua Redman, Terri Lyne Carrington, Jon Faddis, Jerry Bergonzi and Donny McCaslin among others. In 2014 Charlie Apicella was invited by Pat Martino to study improvisation, composition, and Pat’s unique method for learning the mechanics of the guitar. He has performed concerts and recorded with jazz legends Dave Holland, Sonny Fortune, and John Blake, Jr. Charlie began his music training in 1999 at the University of Massachusetts studying composition and improvisation with Yusef Lateef and music history with Archie Shepp. In 2005 he began studying under Dave Stryker who produced the Iron City records Sparks (2009) and The Business (2011).
