Marco de Tilla

In about 25 years of career, Marco has played alongside most of the jazz musicians of Campania and beyond, gaining experience in every artistic field, from jazz festivals to theaters, from recording studios to television studios.

For several years he was professor of Jazz Double Bass at the Conservatories of Naples and Potenza, collaborating for a long time with the National Institute for Musical Development in the South (Ismez).

Graduated with honors in Jazz Music and Jazz Composition, he studied and followed masterclasses with some of the most important double bass players in the world, including Larry Grenadier, Dave Holland, Scott Colley, Furio Di Castri, Rino Zurzolo, Ermanno Calzolari, Aldo Vigorito, Piero Leveratto.

MUSICAL TRAINING Enzo, flute graduated under the guide of Jean Claude and Laurent Masi, followed the firsts jazz seminaries of Siena Jazz studying sax with Claudio Fasoli(1978) and playing in the big bands directed from Enrico Rava and Giancarlo Gazzani.Subsequently it has been perfected in the USA with Andy McGhee, Joseph Viola, Joe Allard and John La Porta and attending the "Berklee College of Music" of Boston(1984-86). Arcangelo Pezzella is the founder, guitarist, arranger, composer and leader of the AP Project, a modern jazz band from Italy. He's currently a student of the Conservatory of Naples (IT) - Jazz Guitar Degree programme - while caring all aspects of his musical projects. The AP Project's debut release is "Out Of The Blue", a sonic journey that explores a world of sounds in jazz.
