Evgeny Pobozhiy

Evgeny Pobozhiy is a famous jazz and fusion virtuoso guitarist and composer, one of the leaders of Moscow jazz scene. As a member of numerous projects of Igor Butman including Igor Butman Quintet and Moscow Jazz Orchestra he added a perfect sound of his versatile guitar to dozens of international projects which featured Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Manhattan Transfer, Dee Dee Bridgewater and other superstars.

Pobozhiy is fueling a fast growth of his solo career by creating international projects with young jazz stars from USA, Europe, Asia and Russia. His latest musical videos featuring Federico Malaman, Anton Davidyants and Gergo Borlai became viral on Youtube. Evgeny's main project is his Quintet which consists of the topmost Russian musicians of modern generation. Quintet's repertoire is based on compositions written by Evgeny, and his tunes thrill with a smart combination of jazz, funk, prog, hip hop, world and modern classical music.

Vitaly Golovnev

Born: February 21, 1976

Trumpeter Vitaly Golovnev was born on February 21. 1976 in Nalchik, Russia into a family of musicians. Throughout 90s, he extensively studied Classical and Jazz music in such an established schools of Russia as National College of Musical Arts and Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins. During that time Mr. Golovnev has performed with well known musicians and veterans of Russian/Soviet Jazz Scene and has established his reputation as new coming talent. In November of 2003 Mr. Golovnev moved to New York City. Since his arrival he has found himself in high demand working with many of New York’s most prominent Big Band’s including the Mingus Big Band, David Berger and "Sultans Of Swing" Orchestra, Arturo O'Farrill and his Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Brooklyn Big Band, and Hal McKusick Nonet as well as many Jazz combos

Born: April 25, 1987

PAVEL "PASHA" SKORNYAKOV is a Russian jazz saxophonist living in Moscow, and a rising star on the international jazz scene. As a gifted composer and musician, Pavel is a virtuoso of the alto sax, soprano sax, tenor sax, and flute. He has already forged an impressive chain of successes: in addition to performing in cities across his native Russia, Skornyakov has performed in shows throughout Europe and Asia. In 2017, he toured South Korea along with famed Korean musicians and became an endorser of Kim’s Korea Saxophone.
