Joe Sturges

Joe Sturges is a drummer/composer based in Madrid. Merging jazz, hip/hop, classical, and a variety of other influences, he creates a unique and honest sound in his compositions, always aiming to tell a story with his music. Currently living in Madrid (Spain) Joe spends most of his time performing behind the drumkit, or writting new compositions for films, videogames, or any of his new personal projects.

Born in 1986 in Santander and begins to play the transverse flute at the age of 10 at the Conservatory Jesus de Monasterio de Santander, where he studies flute with Jaime Salas and composition with Emilio Otero. During his last years at the conservatory he focuses on the study of jazz and contemporary composition and, shortly thereafter, moves to Barcelona to study the upper level of Jazz and Modern Music at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). Natanael Ramos

Born: January 11, 1988

Born in La Orotava (Canary Islands, Spain) in 1988. Natanael graduated with a Master in Jazz Music degree at the CvA (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) with Ruud Breuls, Jan Oosthof, Joris Roelofs and many others after having completed the Bachelor in Jazz Trumpet at MUSIKENE (Center for Advanced Musical Studies of the Basque Country) with trumpeter Chris Kase. He has also been taught by Perico Sambeat, Bob Sands, Miguel Blanco, Roger Mas, Joaquin Chacon, and masterclasses with Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Ambrose Akinmusire, Avisahi Cohen, Terence Blanchard, Terrell Strafford, Till Brönner, Jerry Bergonzi, Polo Orti, Javier Colina, David Pastor and many others. He leads his own band, a latin jazz nonet ‘La Banda del Solar’ and a salsa collective in Tenerife called ‘IBAKÓ’, projects for which he composes and arranges

Chip Wickham

Chip Wickham started out in the highly influential UK breakbeat, hip-hop and drum & bass scene that was Manchester’s Grand Central Records, working and playing with the likes of Rae & Christian, Fingathing, The Pharcyde, Jimpster, Nightmares On Wax, Jenna G and Graham Massey. It wasn’t long before he found himself touring all over the world, and began working with more mainstream artists like Badly Drawn Boy and Roy Ayers. He also played on the soundtrack to the Guy Ritchie’s Snatch. The following years were spent writing, producing and remixing tracks for a wide range of artists, including his own electro-Latin project Malena, releasing the Fried Samba album on Freestyle in 2007. However, jazz has always been his first love, and soon he found himself working with award winning UK trumpeter Matthew Halsall, playing live and eventually appearing on Halsall’s critically acclaimed breakthrough album Sending My Love

Sibyl González

Born: December 28, 1983

Sibyl Gonzalez is a young virtuous singer from Caracas Venezuela and living in Madrid, though it might be thought that her musical career is at it's beginnings, she has a great vocal jazz performance and deep knowledge and understanding of the gender, as if it were instinctive, reactive and emotional. She has won college festivals and was part of several Big Bands in his hometown, she has made multiple concert halls in Caracas and Madrid, and has been involved in jazz festivals in Venezuela, additionally, has been Granted by the Foundation Barquisimeto Jazz Festival twice. The Jazz and contemporary music are the protagonists of their proposal, mixing classic trends swing, the Blues, the Venezuelan music and the fusion of different styles with contemporary jazz
