Boston based Bassist Louis Stringer originally hails from London, England. Since moving to the USA he has performed with a diverse range of musicians including such names as Kenny Werner, Tony Malaby, Soweto Kinch, Roman Diaz, David Gilmore, Michael Attias, Hohnen-Ford, Nigel Price, Noah Preminger, Sam Eastmond, Cenk Esen, Lucy-Anne Daniels, Phil Grenadier, Xhosa Cole and the band Dreamscapes.
Through establishing himself as a strong and inventive sideman, Louis has become busy working in a range of musical settings including straight ahead, original music and improvised music; working with a myriad of musicians both up-and-coming and established. He has appeared at numerous high profile festivals, including the Panama Jazz Festival and the EFG London Jazz Festival.
