Stabe Wilson

Stabe Wilson: A Saxophonist Extraordinaire
Passionate, soul-stirring, and eclectic—these adjectives perfectly capture the essence of saxophonist Stabe Wilson's musical journey. Hailing from Oakland, California, Stabe's love affair with the saxophone began at the tender age of ten. By eleven, after a captivating performance at his father's church, he knew his calling was to share his extraordinary talent with the world.
Stabe honed his craft studying music at Chabot Community College, College of Alameda, and San Francisco State University. At the College of Alameda, he had the privilege of being part of the Big Band under the legendary jazz pianist Bill Bell, which further shaped his musical foundation.

Larry Williams

Born:
I think most people live more than one life (sometimes many lives) in a single lifetime.
For example, I was born into a family where trumpet was the "family instrument" and went on to a long running career as a pro trumpet player however, the developing artist/composer side of me had always chose guitar over the horn.
The heart wants what the heart wants.
Early in my trumpet practice years (when I was 15) I would secretly steal time away from the horn on a guitar I borrowed from a friend, and though I progressed quickly on both instruments, the horn got me into "the biz" first, so I followed that path with guitar becoming the primary composing/songwriting tool.
