Claes Janson

Born: July 30, 1947

Claes Janson is one of Sweden's truly broad-based artist, if not a jack of many trades. He sings rhythm and blues, jazz and songs, he interprets the popular versifiers Cornelis Vreeswijk,Povel Ramel, Carl Michael Bellman and Evert Taube, he's part of everything from small groups to big bands including such well known ones as Good Morning Blues, Ohman&Janson VSOP and Velvet Boys. Rotem Sivan

Rotem Sivan’s guitar skills are heralded across the globe. The New York Times has praised him as “more than a very good young guitar player.” Downbeat Magazine has called him “a remarkable talent."

Rotem completed his studies in both classical composition and jazz performance with honors in Tel Aviv University and at The New School in NYC. Rotem tours with his band most of the year playing in world- renowned festivals and clubs. He has performed in countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Israel, UK, Canada and India among others, and has given workshops around the world in top universities and schools.

Benjamin Thiebault

French pianist and composer Benjamin Thiebault has performed on the stages of renowned jazz clubs and on several international recordings and tours. His first album “Emergence” was released in 2020 and can be found on all streaming platforms.

Allen C. Paul

Born: June 1, 1974

Allen C. Paul, pianist, educator and author, began learning the piano at the age of 3, taught by his mother, an elementary music teacher. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Music in Jazz Piano, he has since performed both locally and internationally, working closely with myriad top-tier artists as a musical director and accompanist. He has worked with and appeared on stage with artists such as Miki Howard, Betty Wright, Raheem Devaughn, Jaguar Wright, Mike Phillips, Rhonda Thomas, Anthony David, Algebra Blessett, Chantae Cann and many others. He also worked in theater alongside award winning singer and actor Chestor Gregory in his hit musical “The Eve of Jackie” in 2017

The Aubrey Wilson Quartet

In many ways, Aubrey Wilson was born to be a musician. Growing up, Wilson was immersed in jazz, soul, and show tunes without even knowing it; her father, a singer, was part of a successful barbershop quartet, which toured across Canada and the United States. Being around so much music – and accompanying her vocalist father to many of his shows – Wilson developed a natural affinity for performing. In addition to singing, she danced from a young age, performed with her high school jazz band, and, when deciding on her post-secondary education, elected to attend Mohawk College’s Applied Music program, where she studied with Carol McCartney and Bob Shields

Greg Murphy

Born: December 1, 1959

Chicago native Greg Murphy has been a major contributor to the New York City jazz scene since the 1980s and he’s probably best known for his twenty-two year association with John Coltrane’s multidirectional drummer, Rashied Ali. Greg began his musical adventures in 1971 when he joined the Ray-Fisk Grammar School Band in Chicago. His classical studies began later that year with Lucia Santini at Roosevelt University. Between 1980 and 1984, he played with the jazz/funk band Lightning Flash Thunder Roar, The University of Illinois at Chicago Big Band, The Northern Illinois University Big Band, and other local Chicago bands. A jazz study grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1984 gave Greg the opportunity to go to New Orleans and study with the eminent pianist and jazz educator, Ellis Marsalis

Marc Nelson

Born: January 23, 1971

Welcome to the homepage of Marc Nelson! Marc is a Philly native and founding member of Boys II Men. He has had a stellar career in the R&B world with two successful solo projects (I Want You, 15 Minutes) and a group effort with a 90's band called Az Yet (Last Night). He is moving into the world of jazz with a beautiful cover of the 1968 Grady Tate classic, Sack Full of Dreams. He is accompanied by some of the best musicians on the planet including Ray Angry on Piano, Christian McBride on Bass, & Jerome Jennings on Drums. Marc has quite an interesting backstory. His high school days were spent learning everything from American History to Music Theory alongside Joey DeFrancesco, and Christian McBride, as well as the current bandleader on The Tonight Show, Questlove

Sylvain Rifflet

Saxophonist, Clarinettist and French composer, graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris, Sylvain Rifflet is the winner of the competition of La Defense and has received several awards including a "victoire du jazz" and a "Django d’or". He has performed or recorded with many musicians, including some of the "must-see" performers on the European scene (Louis Sclavis, Aldo Romano, Michel Portal, Kenny Wheeler, Riccardo Del Fra ...) but also alongside American musicians such as Joey Baron, Jon Irabagon, Jon Hollenbeck, or Michael Formaneck ... Spearheading the young generation of jazz musicians from the first decade of the 21st century, he has collaborated with those who are today on the front of the European "new scene": Verneri Pohjola, Airelle Besson, Thomas de Pourquery , Alban Darche, Pascal Schumacher, Rembrandt Freirichs, Florian Weber, Eve Risser, Sébastien Boisseau, Henning Sieverts and Fred Pallem ..
