Nancy Erickson Lamont, a seasoned jazz vocalist who studied with the renowned jazz instructor Frank DeMiero, has been leaving her mark on Seattle's music scene for over three decades. Her impressive vocal range, lush alto, and distinctive approach to the jazz tradition have captivated audiences and earned her a reputation as one of the city's most engaging and natural vocalists. On May 10, 2024, Nancy unveiled her fourth studio album, Through the Passages, produced by the acclaimed Grammy-winning, twice nominated vocalist and producer Johnaye Kendrick.

Featuring an array of jazz talent, including lauded pianist-composer-bandleader Josh Nelson (Natalie Cole, Sara Gazarek), Sean Jones (Jimmy Heath, Dianne Reeves), pianist Shawn Schlogel, bassists Chris Symer and Michael Glynn (Cory Weeds, Dave Grusin), and drummer Stefan Schatz (Jon Hendricks, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra), Through the Passages is a contemplative collection of original songs exploring life’s miraculous and mysterious seasons. Nancy’s first record of originals, written in collaboration with Schlogel and pianist Darin Clendenin, Through the Passages draws its lyrics from poems Lamont has written throughout the last 10 years of life transitions.

The daughter of two musicians, Christine Hitt started her recording career with the MAXJAZZ record label in 1999. During her time in St. Louis as a jazz vocalist and pianist, Christine recorded and performed with Ugonna Okegwo, Bruce Barth, Montez Coleman, Peter Mayer, and Tom Kennedy, among others. Her solo CD You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To features drummer Jeff Hamilton and bassist Tom Kennedy. The recording received international distribution and airplay. It can be heard on music streaming services for Sirius XM, Direct TV, Nordstroms, Gap, Olive Garden and American Airlines. Her upcoming release Magical Kite was recorded at Capitol studios and was produced by Geoffrey Keezer and features Jeff Hamilton, John Beasley, Bob Sheppard, and Gene Coye As a pop vocalist, Christine has recorded jingles for companies including Maxwell House, Anheuser Busch, Circle K and Ramada Inn

Rebecca is originally from Dallas, Texas and studied music from a young age. As a young singer, she became expert at harmonies singing with her musical mother and in choirs. Her first instrument was piano where she learned the basics. From there she studied classical clarinet for years up through high school onto University of North Texas on a clarinet scholarship. She was also performing in bands singing and doing musical theatre. Moving to SF, she created many groups including the "Spoolie Sisters" who toured and ran in a 2 year run of "Nashional Anthem" an original musical at the 1177 Club atop Nob Hill winning a SF Cabaret Gold Award in the show! She is a mom and sings with her husband Frank, in a band JetBlacq and continues to perform in musical theatre and film

Cathy Segal-Garcia

Boston-bred Cathy Segal-Garcia loved jazz since the age of 5 when she would hang around with her dad (sax player Mike Segal) while she listened to and copied Ella Fitzgerald. Her mother and sisters were also musical, and the family got her started on flute at the age of 10.

Cathy attended the Berklee School of Music from 1972 through 1975, where studied flute and Arranging and Composition . After college, she moved to San Francisco for a brief period, and then to Los Angeles in late 1975, where she still resides. One of the things that has impressed her many colleagues, fans and critics is that she has consistently performed and composed over the years. Maiya Sykes is a classically trained vocalist, producer, vocal arranger and entrepreneur. She studied independently with Nina Simone and Betty Carter. After graduating from Yale University, she went on to further her musical education at The Musicians’ Institute. Maiya has provided back-up vocals for for The Black Eyed Peas, Macy Gray, Fantasia, Joss Stone, Michael Buble, Leona Lewis and Rita Ora. She was a featured backup singer for Macy Gray in her live show for more than five years. She recently provided backgrounds and was featured in the Oscar award winning film La La Land. As a recording artist, Maiya released a dance single with DJ Manny Lehman, “Body Rock”, recorded under the pseudonym Oceana, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Dance Charts in 2009
