Stefan Sirbu

Strasbourg-based pianist and composer, Moldovan-born Stefan Sirbu has made both sides of the Rhine and the Atlantic his creative lab. Classically-trained since the age of 6 and composing since the age of 10, Stefan Sirbu has been drawing inspiration from jazz greats and contemporary artists, hip-hop, Latin-American and European classical music alike.

Dedicated to the art form, while pursuing a career in law, he has been sharing his music with audiences internationally for over twenty years. His compositions have been broadcasted on various radio stations worldwide such as Swiss Radio Jazz, France Musique, Radio România Cultural, Canarias Radio and others.

Seattle native Bill Anschell returned to the Emerald City in 2002 after spending 25 years studying, composing, and performing across the country and around the world.

Anschell left Seattle after high school, studying for two years at Oberlin College (Ohio), then transferring to Wesleyan University (Connecticut), where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Music. At Wesleyan, Anschell worked closely with saxophone great Bill Barron. He also studied semi-privately with South Indian mridangam master T Ranganathan, kindling a passion for rhythmic experimentation that has driven Anschell’s music ever since.

Ezequiel Balseca

Pianist, keyboardist and composer Ezequiel Balseca is a renowned South American jazz musician with years of training and performance experience across the Americas, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Ezequiel is the director and composer of the Ezequiel Balseca Trio, which was nominated for Jazzahead 2020. He currently leads the 'Mad Gamble' in Narrm. In addition to contributing to Narm's vibrant musical scene, playing in a number of line-ups.

Throughout his career, Ezequiel has collaborated with a range of internationally acclaimed musicians and ensembles, including Wolfgang Schmid, Mindy Meng Wang, Christian Lillinger, Nana Koizumi and Zbyszek Szwajdych, among others.
