He's currently working with bass player Tony Grey and drummer David Throckmorton playing jazz fusion.  His musical range and skills lead him to playing funk with Zigaboo, African folk music with Vusi, fusion/pop/rock with Narada, Zappa-esque art rock with MoeTar, and a wide range of instrumental jazz and lush ambient home productions that defy categorization but always deliver a rich feeling

Zakk Jones is a Columbus based guitarist, composer/arranger, and educator with a B.M. in Jazz Studies from Capital University. Raised in Portland, OR, he started playing piano at the age of 6, eventually receiving regional and national awards for composition with the PTA and “Fear No Music” project. After picking up the guitar in middle school, Zakk focused on playing in bands and preparing for music school, eventually attending Capital University with a large scholarship. In his 7+ years on the Columbus scene he has had the opportunity to play at major venues and festivals both locally and all over the country

Trey Wright

Trey Wright is a jazz guitarist, composer, and recording artist based in Roswell, Ga. Initially inspired by the blues, Trey was exposed to jazz early in his development by a private instructor. While studying Sociology at the University of Georgia, Wright furthered his study of jazz improvisation with pianist and composer Steve Dancz. In 1994, he co- founded the Athens/Atlanta based jazz band Squat. The group was a six-time winner of Best Jazz Band at the Flagpole Athens Music Awards and was a featured artist at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Bel Chere, the Twilight Athens Jazz Festival, the Cherry Blossom Festival, Harvest Midtown, and Athfest

Yoav Eshed is an award-winning guitarist and and composer born in Israel, based in Brooklyn, NY. Yoav started to play the piano at the age of 3 and displayed prodigious abilities playing Haydn, Bach and Mendelssohn. He picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and found his unique way to play the guitar with a pianist approach. Since then he has been performing around the world with top Israeli jazz musicians. He has annually received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships for Jazz since 2008. In 2014 Charlie Apicella was invited by Pat Martino to study improvisation, composition, and Pat’s unique method for learning the mechanics of the guitar. He has performed concerts and recorded with jazz legends Dave Holland, Sonny Fortune, and John Blake, Jr. Charlie began his music training in 1999 at the University of Massachusetts studying composition and improvisation with Yusef Lateef and music history with Archie Shepp. In 2005 he began studying under Dave Stryker who produced the Iron City records Sparks (2009) and The Business (2011).

Jae young Jeong is a guitarist, composer, and educator who began his musical life at the age of 16. He initially started with learning classical guitar at a music academy, but after a year he switched his main instrument to electric guitar. In 2000, he started to attend Seoul Jazz Academy to learn music more deeply. During that time, he was able to familiarize himself with various styles of music and get many opportunities of playing in concerts, gigs, and recording sessions. Bob has been playing guitar for more than forty years, performing all across the United States. He has played with such musical celebrities as Steve Wilson, Cal Collins, Gary Thomas, Chris Vadalia, Bobby Shew, Rich Mattison, Delbert Felix, Billy Drummond, Howard Curtis, and the Johnny Trudeau Orchestra. Bob also toured and recorded with the 'Jazz Ambassadors', the Army's official touring jazz ensemble, for five years - appearing on television and radio shows nationwide, and at some of the major educational conferences including the National Association of Jazz Educators (NAJE) convention in 1980, now known as the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) (now defunct). Bob has also authored an instructional jazz guitar chord book entitled 'Jazz Chords and Progressions' which carries with it an endorsement by legendary jazz great Joe Pass and has been featured in a guitar clinic given by Jack Peterson at the International Association of Jazz Educators. He also was primarily responsible for the organization and musical arrangements of the group 'Great Guitars of Tidewater' which was featured on National Public Radio in 1988
