Pablo Embon

Pablo Embon has released 18 albums to date. All his music is performed, recorded, mixed and produced by himself. Amongst the music tracks, there is a multitude of jazz stylings. Pablo originally hails from Argentina, rich in its history of tango and Andean folk music, where he learned from famed classical guitarist Eduardo Isaac. Pablo played in several modern bands and as a single musician in his youth. Embon started his music education at very young age. As a child he developed intuitive composition skills, adopting piano and guitar as his core musical instruments. Later on, he pursued advanced music education in the composition and harmonization fields and won recognitions in several public music contests in Argentina. When later in life, Embon immigrated to Israel , its unique blend of world music and Middle Eastern music no doubt had an influence on the musician who at this point had already spent years creating and performing unique modern and alternative jazz compositions

With a varied career as a performer, composer and arranger, Highlights include shows and tours with artists such as Taj Mahal, Jimmy McGriff, Larry Coryell, Benny Golson, Oliver Lake, Russell Malone and Mulgrew Miller. Ron has been featured as a leader in jazz festivals all over the world, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz Festivals and Winter Jazzfest, NYC. Born in the Philippines, lived in many states as a kid, then settled in Harvard, Massachusetts, west of Boston, Ron was initially influenced by rock guitar greats like Jimmy Page, before falling under the spell of jazz and following the style and career of jazz guitar luminaries like Pat Metheny and George Benson

Paul Bomar

Inspired by musically-adept family, Paul Bomar started his musical journey at the age of 13 by picking up a used beginner guitar and learning a few rock tunes. Upon receiving a dubbed copy of Miles Davis's "'Round About Midnight" at the age of 16, he developed a love for jazz that has only grown in the years since. After playing in several funk and rock bands, Paul set out to share his passion for jazz with the Raleigh-Durham area and performed with his own groups and other jazz combos, as well as working as a session musician for numerous performers in the area. Paul plays, as described by others, "tastefully, economically, tunefully, swinging", drawing from traditional influences such as Kenny Burrell and Jim Hall as well as more recent players such as Ed Bickert and Peter Bernstein. Paul has numerous studio and live albums under his belt

He's currently working with bass player Tony Grey and drummer David Throckmorton playing jazz fusion.  His musical range and skills lead him to playing funk with Zigaboo, African folk music with Vusi, fusion/pop/rock with Narada, Zappa-esque art rock with MoeTar, and a wide range of instrumental jazz and lush ambient home productions that defy categorization but always deliver a rich feeling

Zakk Jones is a Columbus based guitarist, composer/arranger, and educator with a B.M. in Jazz Studies from Capital University. Raised in Portland, OR, he started playing piano at the age of 6, eventually receiving regional and national awards for composition with the PTA and “Fear No Music” project. After picking up the guitar in middle school, Zakk focused on playing in bands and preparing for music school, eventually attending Capital University with a large scholarship. In his 7+ years on the Columbus scene he has had the opportunity to play at major venues and festivals both locally and all over the country

Trey Wright

Born:

Trey Wright is a jazz guitarist, composer, and recording artist based in Roswell, Ga. Initially inspired by the blues, Trey was exposed to jazz early in his development by a private instructor. While studying Sociology at the University of Georgia, Wright furthered his study of jazz improvisation with pianist and composer Steve Dancz. In 1994, he co- founded the Athens/Atlanta based jazz band Squat. The group was a six-time winner of Best Jazz Band at the Flagpole Athens Music Awards and was a featured artist at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Bel Chere, the Twilight Athens Jazz Festival, the Cherry Blossom Festival, Harvest Midtown, and Athfest

Yoav Eshed is an award-winning guitarist and and composer born in Israel, based in Brooklyn, NY. Yoav started to play the piano at the age of 3 and displayed prodigious abilities playing Haydn, Bach and Mendelssohn.
