Warren Galea

Born: April 1, 1991

Warren Galea is a guitarist, pianist, and composer from Malta. His third and latest album - Meditations, a collection of solo guitar improvisations recorded across a period of around one year, was released in August 2023. 

In 2019 he became the first Maltese artist to perform at the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. Other international performances have included Nublu 151, ShapeShifter Lab, Rockwood Music Hall and the Bitter End (NYC), the Honey Hive Gallery (San Francisco), the Octopus Literary Salon (Oakland), the Jazz Educators Network Conference (JEN) 2019 in Reno, Nevada; the Malta Jazz Festival, the Dusseldorf Jazz Rally, Europe Day Festival (Vienna), Teatro Adriano (Cagliari, Sardegna) and 'Les Sons d' Une Ile’ (Paris).

Robert Ellis & The LiveWires offer a fresh new voice in the conversation of jazz music. This unique group is led by Lead Pianist Robert Ellis who was born in New Orleans, the birthplace of Jazz. Robert is joined by his brother Reggie Ellis on Keys/Synths, Darion Duncan on Bass/Key Bass, Jheremy “Jay MusicMan” Thompson on Drums and newest member Josh Porter (not pictured) on Lead Guitar. Anna Jalkéus is a Boston based singer, harpist, and composer known as a powerful, creative musician who writes genre bending music with fearlessness and originality. She has received many national awards such as the JEN Young Composer Showcase, Swedish Monica Zetterlund and Ted Gärdestad awards, scholarship from STIM (Swedish ASCAP), and was awarded “Outstanding Performance” with her band in DownBeat Student Music Awards 2017. Cambridge-based Q3 was formed in 2013 and has a high quality line up featuring Kevin Flanagan on sax (Rip Rap, Tommy Chase, Chris Ingham), Martin Hallmark on piano (Helen McDonald and Juba, Andy Bowie Quartet), Tiago Coimbra on bass (Hiromi, Resolution 88, Dennis Rollins, Orphy Robinson, Myles Sanko) and Derek Scurll  / Oscar Reynolds on drums. Pablo Embon

Born: July 23, 1964

Pablo Embon has released 18 albums to date. All his music is performed, recorded, mixed and produced by himself. Amongst the music tracks, there is a multitude of jazz stylings. Pablo originally hails from Argentina, rich in its history of tango and Andean folk music, where he learned from famed classical guitarist Eduardo Isaac. Pablo played in several modern bands and as a single musician in his youth. Embon started his music education at very young age. As a child he developed intuitive composition skills, adopting piano and guitar as his core musical instruments. Later on, he pursued advanced music education in the composition and harmonization fields and won recognitions in several public music contests in Argentina. When later in life, Embon immigrated to Israel , its unique blend of world music and Middle Eastern music no doubt had an influence on the musician who at this point had already spent years creating and performing unique modern and alternative jazz compositions
