Matt Richards
Born:
Born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, guitarist Matt Richards grew up in the culturally fertile cross-currents of the late 1960s. His musical pathway opens in the mix of folk, rock and psychedelic music that defined that decade and eventually guides him into the hyperactive jazz-fusion of the 1970s. Initially a self-taught player, Matt began earnestly developing the technically advanced musical abilities necessary to be part of that highly-energized genre. Paco Reinaldet
Paco Reinaldet was born in Campo Grande, and after living for a while in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia, he moved to São Paulo, where he studied music and worked as a gigging musician, playing from blues-jazz to the erudite, as a way of survival. At that time, he was immersed in São Paulo's bohemian music scene, participating in several music projects.
In 2000 he went to Rio de Janeiro in an attempt to start an authorial musical career. Been unsuccessful, persisted in his choice of music by going to live in Lima-Peru, and learning Latin music. Years later, he went to Wales-UK to study and play. Paco devoted his time to refining the instrument timbre and embracing “indeterminism” as an integral part of his songwriting process.

Ted Howe
Ted Howe was born in Boston, MA with a fascination for sound from the day he was born. A penchant for sound from a toddler may not always be a parent's dream. However, this love of sound grew as did that of the Red Sox from the attention he received from his Uncle Oly, who introduced him both to jazz and to baseball. Young Ted listened to every jazz album he could find, attended many jazz concerts and quickly found his favorites amongst Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Oscar Peterson, George Shearing, Dave Brubeck and Bill Evans. Ted began studying piano in his tender teens with Harry Smith one of the legendary founders of the Berklee College Of Music

Through AXIOM, Peter and Phil feel that they are indeed establishing their own special place on the contemporary music scene. When recently asked "What is AXIOM all about and what are you trying to say, musically speaking?" Peter responds, 'As the name implies, this is the self-evident truth in music for us!
