Kari Antila

Born in Laitila, Finland, Kari is graduate of pop/jazz music pedagogue in Stadia, Helsinki, Finland.  Kari moved to Belgium 2003 and studied jazz guitar with famous Belgium Jazz players Peter Hertmans and Philip Catherine. 2006 Kari graduated cum laude from Royal Conservatory of Gent as a Master of Jazz Music. Later on Kari has lived for example in New York and has had opportunity to study with many leading contemporary top jazz guitarists. For example:  Lage Lund, and Gilad Hekselman,

Suzan Veneman

Jazz trumpet player and composer Suzan Veneman captures audiences with her adventurous and soulful sound. After finishing her studies in the USA she has played an active part on the jazz scene both in the Netherlands and abroad. Comfortable in many genres of modern music, she can be seen playing with a wide variety of bands, including: the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, BvR Flamenco Big Band, Zack Lober’s NO FILL3R, Iman Spaargaren's 'Undercurrent Trio' and her own ambitious projects ‘Zinder’ and the 'Suzan Veneman Sextet'. 

Her early achievements include being finalist at the Prinses Christina Concours (NL, 2010) and partaking in the exclusive Jazz Rising Stars Program at Ravinia, IL (USA, 2013) lead by former jazz giant David Baker.

Eri Chichibu

Eri is an award-winning Japanese composer/arranger/pianist/keyboardist/bandleader. She graduated Berklee College of Music in Boston, dual majored in Jazz Composition and Film Scoring, and minored in Video Game Scoring. Before diving into music field, she has studied education and psychology at Tohoku University in Japan. Her unique sounding music may be created because of this unique background. After she started her path as a musician, her works have recognized by many organization such as ASCAP, ISJAC, JEN, and more. (e.g. 2020 ISJAC/USF Owen Prize, 2020 & 2019 ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award.) While she writes and performs her jazz compositions as a bandleader, she also makes music for media (TV, radio, video games, theater, and more)

Tobias M. Hoffmann

Tobias Hoffmann was born in Göppingen (Germany) in 1988 and discovered his passion for music and the saxophone during his high school years. 
From 2008 until 2010 he studied at the University for Music, Drama and Media in Hanover and from 2010 at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen 
(The Netherlands), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in June 2013. From 2013 until 2015 he studied Jazz Saxophone at the Musik und 
Kunst Universität Wien (Austria) and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) with distinction. At the same time he studied Jazz Composition and 
Arrangement and graduated with distinction in 2018.

Jazz Bassist, Composer, and Bandleader from the SF Bay Area. Born in Palo Alto, CA in 1994, and raised in Redwood City, CA. His music foundation started with Piano and Trumpet, before moving on to Electric bass and then Double Bass. His earliest musical influences include James Jamerson, Paul Chambers, Jaco Pastorius, Thelonious Monk, and Miles Davis. Marley Edwards studied music and composition formally; 4 years as a Music Major at the College of San Mateo and 4 years at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA, receiving a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies in June 2019. Andrea Goretti is a jazz pianist, improviser, and composer active in projects ranging from solo piano to orchestral ensembles, with a strong focus on original music and interdisciplinary practices (silent film, dance, photographic projections, and musical theatre). He has released two solo piano albums and one trio album, collaborating with Italian and international musicians.


Education

He graduated in Classical Piano from the Conservatory of Parma in 2013. With pianist Fabrizio Ottaviucci, he deepened his study of John Cage’s prepared piano and the music of major 20th-century composers, including Giacinto Scelsi and Morton Feldman.

He is a teacher of musical instrument at the musical high school La Spezia Italy He is the artistic director of the La Spezia International Jazz Festival Lorenzo Cimino is a Yamaha artist and plays YTR 8310Z He has lectured at the University of Pisa, the Conservatory of Bologna, the Boccherini Lucca Institute. He studied with Pierre Tibhaud, Antoine Curè He has made numerous recordings on behalf of Rai, solo CDs and won the audition for First trumpet in the orchestra of the Festival di Fermo.

I have carried out an intense concert activity, founding and working the Ensemble Scelsi for 10 years, also performing numerous compositions in absolute first performances. Many composers have dedicated pieces to his trumpet such as: Giorgio Gaslini, Luciano Chailly, Pietro Grossi, Marco Betta, Piero Luigi Zangelmi, Claudio Josè Boncompagni, Fernando Mencherini, Gaetano Giani Luporini, Giovanni Sollima, Giuseppe Bruno, Paola Ciarlantini, Andrea Nicoli
