Un trio che si allarga a quartetto in metà delle tracce interpreta Inhuman Wilderness, quinto lavoro a nome del trentaduenne pianista Bobby Avey, ancora poco noto da noi ma piuttosto affermato negli USA. Giustamente, si può dire ascoltando l'album, che ne documenta le idee musicali moderne e inquiete, ma anche la maestria alla tastiera.
