Tommy Halferty

Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, he began his musical career in the late 70s taking Jazz Guitar lessons with Louis Stewart, a world class jazz musician. Some of his earliest appearances playing public were with bands such as `Jump' - a jazz fusion group and later on `Nunn' - a trio of flute, double bass and guitar. Most of the material here was drawn from classical, folk and jazz music.

In the early '80s Tommy Halferty formed a trio consisting of guitar, bass guitar, and drums producing fresh sounds, original compositions, and with John Wadham (drums), Ronan Guilfoyle (bass) the trio proved to be a well integrated ensemble and one of the most successful groups in Ireland during this period.

Todd Nelson

Todd Nelson has recorded or performed with Terry Adams (NRBQ), Gary Burke (Bob Dylan, Joe Jackson), Hayseed, Lonesome Val, Aimee Mann, Ed Mann (Frank Zappa), Pal Shazar, Jules Shear, Rumdummies, Malcolm Travis (Sugar), The Wheelers and Dealers and others. He currently performs original songs and arrangements for his instrumental quartet, TN4. He also performs with singer-songwriters Anna Cheek and Bruce Kean. The band: TN4 mixes elements of jazz, rock and electronics, playing original songs and new arrangements of unusual covers, including pop, folk and gospel and any other genre signified by the muse. The music of TN4 is improvisational but not noise; exploratory in texture and sound but melodic; arranged but open-ended; structured while embracing the random; aware of the past without repeating it; unafraid of space, subtlety or beauty, and it rocks. Todd Nelson - Electric Guitar, Kyle Esposito - Fretless Bass, Manuel Quintana - Drums and Percussion and John Hines - Trumpet and Flugelhorn

Erik Jackson

Born:

"Rainy Days" was a project I have been working on for over a year. After my last album "The Road Less Traveled", I wanted to push further into jazz, and dig even deeper into my soul. The album weaves in and out of acoustic drum & bass or (jazz & bass), to Traditional jazz songs. I am very happy with the outcome. The albums theme is; a cold and rainy night, an old turntable and the progression of the evening at home, alone or with someone special. That's what was in my mind when It was created. I will let your imagination create the rest. I guarantee this is something you have never heard before. Thank you, Erik Jackson
