Adam Taylor

Adam Taylor is a jazz guitarist and composer from the U.K. He is currently based in the Netherlands where he is involved in several projects and performs regularly on the European and U.K scene. After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2013 with a first class honours degree in jazz, Adam won several awards for his innovative playing. He received the Eric Kershaw memorial prize for guitar and the LCM 606 club competition in 2013. In 2014 he received the Jimmy Woode award and in 2015 he was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Montreux jazz guitar competition. One of the few jazz guitarists to use the touch technique developed predominantly by guitarist Stanley Jordan, Adam is able to sound like a piano with two independent hands able to move all over the neck simultaneously

Orlando Haddad

Orlando brings a wealth of influences not only from his country of Brazil as a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and arranger, but from his classical background as well. A native of Lavras, in the state of Minas Gerais, Orlando has been a bandleader since the age of 12. As a child growing up in Brazil he studied classical piano and guitar; later he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he studied at the Villa-Lôbos Institute and pursued private classical guitar studies. In 1974 he came to the US to study music at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he met Patricia, and graduated with a degree in Composition

Eric Roberts

Born: February 17, 1955

Eric Roberts is an accomplished guitarist and bassist as well as composer, and has been playing professionally since the age of 16.  He holds a B.A. in Music from Ithaca College and a Master’s in Music from the University of Miami.  He has enjoyed a successful career playing in Broadway shows, backing up name entertainers such as Chuck Berry, The Fifth Dimension, The Drifters, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, Anthony Newley, Maureen McGovern, Chita Rivera, the Smothers Brothers, Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, Danny Ganz, recording with the Orchestre Suisse Romande, performing solo guitar concerts, giving music workshops, and providing music for every type of occasion.  His repertoire ranges from classical to jazz, brazilian to new age and nuevo flamenco.  He works as a solo performer with tracks, as a guitar/flute duo and with a quartet.  Eric’s own original music encompasses a variety of musical influences from Paul Winter and David Darling to Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber and Pat Metheny as well as the music of Brazil.  His own unique sound comes from a melding of instruments — from the classical guitar, acoustic bass and guitar synthesizer to the mandolin and the bandura (a Ukrainian instrument akin to the harp).

Jani Moder

Born: October 10, 1978

Jani Moder was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and moved back to Slovenia when he was 3 years old. He started playing classical guitar when he was 8 years old and took lessons for 10 years. He graduated from jazz guitar with honors at Karntner LandesKonservatorium in Klagenfurt, Austria. At audition in Paris he received scholarship for prestigious Berklee College of Music and received scholarship from Slovene ministry of culture. At Berklee he was recipient of Stephen D. Holland Award for outstanding musicianship and graduated with honors in 2 years. He was also chosen among 10 students to sign a contract with Berklee’s Jazz revelation records where he is featured on the Cd called Common Ground

Anthony Darren

Born: December 5, 1971

Accomplished Guitarist / Composer Tony Darren, whose diverse talent encompasses many musical styles from Jazz and R&B to Pop and Classical. Tony garnered a SESAC national performance award as well as a GRAMMY consideration for best new contemporary jazz artist for his CD, Sun Song. His first single hit #40 on the Gavin Contemporary Jazz charts (on over 100 stations coast to coast) and remained on the national charts for over 16 weeks. Tony first began studying guitar with renowned teacher & author Ted Greene, forming a deep bond that would last until Ted's untimely death. Regarded by his peers as among one of the top contemporary Jazz Guitarists, Tony's gift for capturing feeling in beautiful melodies is immediate and infectious and while he displays a casual tone, his virtuosity and technique are always evident

Roger Noyes

Born: January 3, 1978

Roger Noyes is a cross-genre guitarist whose playing is rooted primarily in blues-oriented forms. He currently writes and performs with the Arch Stanton Quartet, whose music finds influence in post-bop jazz, but he also performs with groups specializing in other genres, from straight-ahead jazz to barroom/roots rock. His instrumental writing and playing, in particular, are inspired by the likes of Thelonious Monk, Frank Zappa, John Scofield, Nels Cline, Grant Green, Neil Young and Danny Gatton: musicians who are genre-bending, take an "unusual" approach to harmony, and/or have a strong blues-soul sensibility
