Jan Erik Kongshaug

Kongshaug was born in Trondheim as a son of guitarist John Kongshaug. During his childhood and adolescence, he began to play the accordion (1950), guitar (1958) and bass (1964). Kongshaug got his examen artium in 1963, and trained in electronics at the Trondheim Technical School in 1967. Then he worked for Arne Bendiksen Studio (1967–1974) and Talent Studio (1974–79) in Oslo, and undertook some jobs in New York. In 1984, he founded his own recording studio, Rainbow Studio in Oslo and evolved into being one of the grand masters of Sound engineering. Altogether, he produced over 4,000 records, and was particularly known for some 700 recordings for ECM Records made from 1970 onwards. Kongshaug played with Åse Kleveland winning the Norsk Melodi Grand Prix in 1966, and was third in the Eurovision Song Contest (1966)

Jonah Tolchin

Jonah Tolchin has wrestled with a wellspring of emotions in his 27 years, and in the process, has consistently found the means of integrating his sentiments into his songs. It’s been a relatively brief progression as far as his career is concerned, but the maturity and musical progression he’s tallied in that short time has been shared in sync with his coming of age. On his upcoming Yep Roc album, Fires for the Cold, Tolchin lays bare the conflicts and quagmires that have engulfed him over the course of the last few years. Indeed, by his own admission, it’s been a difficult time. Manolo Pereira

Born in Seville. Since the beginning of his adolescence he has felt a great interest in music and the guitar in particular, which makes him begin in the world of the six strings and start playing in rock groups. Recordings and live performances that led to the composition and recording of some headers for TV programs.

From the discovery of jazz, his interest and continuous training in the Conservatory of Seville and the Musicians Workshop of Madrid in temporary stays in the capital of Madrid. At the same time, he is part of popular music groups that travel around Andalusia.

After studying with the master Fran Mazuelos is when his vision of music, jazz, harmony and creativity takes another dimension and his musical and personal north turn 180 degrees.

Audun Aschim Steffensen

Audun Aschim Steffensen (b. 1991) was educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music where he earned a Master’s degree in composition and guitar performance. Already at the age of 23, he collaborated with Paolo Vinaccia on Dommedag ifølge Paulus, a work commissioned by Oslo Jazzfestival with the Norwegian Soloist Choir and guitarist Eivind Aarset. He has since worked on many interdisciplinary productions, including Alya-Vijnana for The Norwegian Wind Ensemble with Hanna Rabe as soloist in 2017. In 2018, his work Cryptics for solo percussionist was premiered by KORK percussionist Christian Lundqvist as part of the KORK-Kammer series

Giuseppe Pucciarelli

Giuseppe Pucciarelli is a jazz guitarist and composer. He has been playing the guitar since the age of five when his father bought him a classical guitar for his birthday. From the age of 10, Pucciarelli received classical guitar lessons. A few years later, keen to further his expertise in advanced jazz improvisation and composition, he decided to go further with the music studies and, as a result, he moved to London for studying at the Guildhall School of Music. Shortly thereafter, he started to perform in the city’s most important jazz club including Ronnie Scott and Pizza Express and to teach all aspects of Music Theory, Jazz Harmony, Improvisation and Composition. Pucciarelli’s high level of motivation let him record his first original album ‘Shall We Say It Is Worth” at the age of 23

Sparky Parker is a blues/rock/soul guitarist and vocalist from Houston, Texas with the grit, drive, and talent needed to stand tall in the eternally-competitive Texas music scene. Houston fans knew him as a young blues guitar prodigy but Parker has grown far beyond that kind of simple label. Parker is now a triple threat who writes quality songs, sings with a feeling, and plays with ferocity. Greg Dayton

Singer/songwriter Greg Dayton was inducted as a Great Blues Artist into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2016. He has been collaborating with some of the finest musicians in the US and Europe for over 20 years. With influences from electric rock to acoustic blues, the New York artist has a dedicated a lifetime to great songs, searing electric guitar solos and acoustic fingerpicking. This summer he will release his second solo album, Sailing for the Sun. Produced by Adrian Harpham, with influences from blues, rock and folk to soul, the album features performances by Greg's NYC based band and other great friends and artists including, Adrian Harpham, Towera Smith, Clayton Bryant, Anthony Robustelli, Anson Jones, Max Rifkin, Steve Bernstein, Josh Solomon, Dave Inniss, and more. Dayton released his debut solo album, Lonesome Road, (now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon) in 2016
